At present,in the field of pedagogy and psychology,the research of prosocial behavior has gradually become the focus of attention.After entering junior high school,the students are in the stage of changeable psychological conditions and frequent ups and downs in adolescence.Junior high school students are important reserve forces for the development and progress of society and the country.Therefore,promoting the development of prosocial behavior of junior high school students is of far-reaching significance to individuals,society and the country.According to the theory of social ecosystem,family factors play an important role in the social development of junior high school students.Apart from family factors,individual psychological factors of empathy also affect prosocial behavior.Therefore,it is very important to study the relationship between family intimacy,empathy and prosocial behavior of junior high school students.This study is divided into two parts:Study 1: In order to explore the possible relationship among family intimacy,empathy and prosocial behavior as well as the possible mediating mechanism of empathy,this study adopted the form of questionnaire survey and collected and sorted out the questionnaires of 1505 junior high school students in Shandong,Anhui,Fujian and Zhejiang provinces.The results show that:(1)junior high school students have good levels of family intimacy,empathy and prosocial behavior;(2)There are significant differences in the family intimacy of junior middle school students in terms of gender,domicile,whether they are the only child,whether they are a single parent family,and whether they are class leaders;(3)The empathy of junior high school students has significant differences in gender,class leader or not;(4)There are significant differences in the prosocial behaviors of junior high school students in the places of residence,whether they are the only child or not,and whether they are class leaders.(5)The family intimacy,empathy and prosocial behavior of junior middle school students are significantly positively correlated;(6)Empathy plays a partial mediating role between family intimacy and prosocial behavior in junior high school students.Study 2: Based on Study 1,in order to explore the effectiveness of empathic group counseling,this study designed a group support program according to the characteristics of each factor of empathic traits.In the way of member recruitment,32 students were randomly selected,16 students as a group,randomly divided into experimental group and control group.The students in the experimental group received eight hours of empathic group tutoring for eight weeks,while the students in the control group studied in their own classrooms.Through the statistical analysis of the pre-test and post-test data,the results show that: through empathic group counseling,junior high school students’ empathic ability and prosocial behavior level are significantly improved. |
