| The high school entrance examination has a dual role, which is not only the final evaluation of the nine-year compulsory education stage, but also the basis for high school promotion. In the context that the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will implement the provincial-level unified proposition of the middle school entrance examination, the mathematics questions of the middle school entrance examination in Baotou,Inner Mongolia, are compared with the questions in Beijing and Shanghai, where basic education is developed, and what are the characteristics of the core literacy of the middle school entrance examination mathematics questions in these three regions in the past three years? What are the characteristics of the overall difficulty? So as to provide a little reference and suggestions for the command of examination questions and the teaching of teachers in Inner Mongolia.Firstly, the literature method was used to read and organize relevant literature, and research ideas and frameworks were obtained from it.Secondly, the comparative analysis method is used to analyze the changes within each region in the past three years and the comparison between regions. Each aspect is mainly carried out from the four perspectives of question structure, knowledge field, core literacy and comprehensive difficulty. In the process of comparison, with the help of EXCEL statistical software, the data is made into intuitive statistical charts and tables, which can better reflect the characteristics of mathematics test questions in the middle school examination in the near three regions. The main conclusions obtained through comparative analysis are:(1)The three regions have consistency in question types, but they are different in the total score and question volume, examination time and proportion of points of each question type.(2)The four knowledge fields of logarithmic and algebra, graphics and geometry, statistics and probability, synthesis and practice are examined in the three regions. The Baotou questions focus on "Graphics and Geometry",while the Beijing and Shanghai questions are more balanced in the fields of "Number and Algebra" and "Graphics and Geometry",and "Number and Algebra" is slightly higher than "Graphics and Geometry".(3)From the perspective of overall examination, the most tested literacy in the three regions is mathematical operation and logical reasoning, and the less tested literacy is mathematical modeling, mathematical abstraction and data analysis. However, the weight of each literacy test is different. From the perspective of the overall examination of the three levels, the three regions are the most examined at level 1,in the middle of level 2,and in the least. The Baotou and Beijing exams are more in line with the requirements of the selective examination. The Shanghai test should strengthen the examination of level 3.(4)From the perspective of each region, the comprehensive difficulty gap between the three regions in the past three years is not obvious, and the difficulty is relatively consistent. From the comparison between regions, the most difficult question in the three regions is the Baotou test, with the Shanghai test in the middle and the Beijing test with the smallest difficulty value.Based on the above research, the suggestions for the candidates of the middle school exam questions:(1)Enrich the background of the test questions and broaden students’ horizons.(2)Increase the setting of open, exploratory and innovative topics.(3)Appropriately increase the examination of mathematical modeling, mathematical abstraction and data analysis literacy.Suggestions for front-line teachers:(1)Pay attention to comprehensive and practical courses and implement core literacy.(2)Grasp the problem well and exercise students’ thinking. |
