College entrance examination is an important test for high school graduates to enter the University. As the most widely used college entrance examination in the United States,SAT test pays attention to the communication between students and the real world, which conforms to the concept of quality education in China. It is of certain significance to analyze and compare the mathematics test questions of China's college entrance examination and sat mathematics test questions for the reform of China's college entrance examination and high school teaching.SAT test is divided into SAT I and SAT II(collectively referred to as the U.S.college entrance examination). In this study,SAT I,SAT II and China's college entrance examination are selected as mathematics papers, and the comparative analysis method is used to compare the difficulty, situation, content and mathematical core literacy of the test questions, analyze the characteristics of the test questions, draw the research conclusions, and give some suggestions for China's high school mathematics education and college entrance examination mathematics reform. The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Difficulty of test questions: China's college entrance examination is the most difficult, and sat I test is the easiest. In terms of background factors,SAT I test is the most difficult;in terms of parameters,SAT II test is the least difficult;in terms of operation level, reasoning ability, thinking direction, knowledge content and cognition level,China's college entrance examination is the most difficult, and SAT I test is the most easy.(2)Test situation: scientific situation accounts for the largest proportion, and professional situation is the least. The match degree between SAT I and PISA was the highest, and the range of the other two papers was single.(3)Content of test questions: in SAT I and SAT II tests, algebra, geometry and probability statistics decreased in turn, while geometry, algebra and probability statistics knowledge in China's college entrance examination decreased in turn, with the least investigation on probability statistics content in the three volumes. There are no questions only about junior high school knowledge in China's college entrance examination, most of the questions in SAT I test are only about junior high school knowledge, and there are super outline questions in American SAT II test.(4)Mathematical core literacy: mathematical operation and logical reasoning account for a large proportion, while mathematical modeling and data analysis account for a small proportion. The overall situation of the three volumes is basically the same for the six mathematical core literacy. From the conclusion of the study,we get two suggestions.High school mathematics teaching should pay attention to the study of elective courses and actively create problem situations. In the reform of college entrance examination mathematics,we should reduce the comprehensive difficulty of the test questions, pay attention to the investigation of the situation of the test questions, comprehensively investigate the core quality of mathematics, organize multiple examinations, scientifically set up the independent entrance examination, and form a multiple comprehensive evaluation mechanism.
