| At present,,Internet rumors have become a serious social problem,frequently appearing on social media platforms.It brings not only misleading and confusing information,but also negative effects on the mental health of the audience.At present,the audience in the era of social media is no longer a simple and binary distribution,but a situation of interaction between the majority and the minority.Information flows faster and communication freer.At the same time,once rumors are spread on social media,they will affect a large number of audiences in a short time,and even spread to the whole society.Cause public panic and unease,have a greater impact.In addition,due to the complex and diverse sources of information on social media,the authenticity of information is difficult to determine,so it is difficult to verify and refute rumors.Even if someone comes forward with the truth,the rumor may continue to spread and its influence remains.Some malicious people will use online rumors to incite emotions,intensify social conflicts,and undermine social stability and unity.Therefore,this paper aims to study the representations of network rumors in the era of social media and their impact on audience anxiety,and give corresponding channelling strategies.First of all,the research background,related concepts and theories are expounded,and the research methods and the views of domestic and foreign scholars are comprehensively expounded.Secondly,through data investigation,it is found that in the era of social media,the content representation and communication context of online rumors are complex and diverse,and the interference inducements affecting the audience’s anxiety are different in forms.The subject and effect of refuting rumors play a huge role in promoting the change of the audience’s anxiety.Then,in terms of theoretical research,combined with the cases obtained from the data investigation,the paper analyzes the factors of audience anxiety from three aspects: the new style of information distribution,the opinion leadership environment and the silent spiral interaction.In addition,it also focuses on foreign network rumors and discusses the impact of such foreign incidents on individuals.Finally,on the basis of the above,the paper puts forward three guidance strategies,namely,social comprehensive management,rumor prevaricating and improving users’ media literacy,in order to alleviate the audience’s anxiety caused by network rumors.To sum up,the research significance of this paper lies in how to channel the audience’s anxiety at each key node,improve their ability to identify rumors,and improve media literacy;At the same time,it also plays a guiding role for the research of related problems. |
