Study On Institutionalization Of Ideal And Belief Education Of College Students In The New Era

The Communist Party of China has always attached great importance to education in ideals and convictions and steps to enhance its effectiveness.At the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,the institutional key to sound governance was introduced.It was the first time the institutional map was systematically depicted for better transforming institutional advantages and institutional self-confidence into governance efficiency.Since then,institution construction has become an important dimension in promoting education in ideals and faiths.The Proposals for Formulating the 14 th Five-Year Plan(2021-2025)for National Economic and Social Development and the Long-Range Objectives Through the Year 2035,which was considered and adopted at the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,emphasizes the need to "promote the normalization and institutionalization of education on ideals and convictions." college students are the major force that shoulders the responsibility to fulfill the historical mission of prosperity and strength of the country,rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,and happiness of the Chinese people.Therefore,institutionalization is at the core of education on college students’ ideals and beliefs.In the face of the daunting tasks of domestic reform and the complicated international landscape,it is urgent to base ourselves on institutional thinking and conduct a thorough study on how to improve the educational system in this regard,how to implement the system efficiently,and on how to transform the advantages of the system into the effectiveness of education.This research discussed four aspects through documents study supplemented with comparative research and inductive methods: first,the connotations,characteristics,and implications of the institutionalization of ideals and convictions education in the new era were determined;second,the theoretical basis for the institutionalization of college students’ ideal and belief education in the new era was sorted out;third,the given the status quo of the institutionalization of college students’ education on ideals and beliefs,analysis was done concerning the problems exist in compatibility,implementation,environment,theory,and application of the institution;fourth,It is proposed the needs to build the ideals and faiths education system of college students,establish systems of implementation,feedback,and guarantee.Elevating the education on ideals and beliefs to an institutional height provides a systematic guarantee for and the institution enhances the effectiveness of the work in imbuing college students with ideals and beliefs.Moreover,the exertion of institutional effectiveness enriches the form and content of ideological and political education and provides a theoretical basis for the construction of the system,so that the ideal and belief education of college students can embark on a new journey and open up a new situation.
