With the rapid development of science and technology,the impact of the internet on human life has penetrated into various aspects such as learning,life,and work.While the internet brings various conveniences to human life,it also brings many negative impacts,such as the problem of adolescent internet addiction.The adolescent stage is a critical period of life development,during which due to the incomplete maturity of their physical and mental development,they are highly susceptible to interference and influence from external factors.After conducting interviews with internet addicted teenagers at X School in Shangrao City,the author found that they often have low levels of self-awareness,are prone to losing control of emotions,lack planning for the future,and lack communication skills with parents and teachers.The reason,to a large extent,is due to the low self-efficacy.Adolescence is a crucial period for shaping one’s outlook on life,the world,and values.Over time,the physical and mental health development of internet addicted teenagers will inevitably be hindered.Therefore,this paper focuses on how to improve the self-efficacy of Internet addicted adolescents so as to help them gain self-esteem and self-confidence,get out of the vicious circle of the Internet,and better realize social development.This study takes teenagers with Internet addiction at School X as the research object,conducts in-depth research to understand their own,family,and school situations,and uses structured interviews and the General Self Efficacy Scale to evaluate them.Using social work group intervention methods to intervene in interpersonal communication,emotional control,self cognition,goal planning,and other aspects,the main research questions are as follows: the causes and manifestations of self efficacy problems among internet addicted adolescents;Whether it is effective to carry out social work group activities to intervene in the improvement of self efficacy among internet addicted adolescents;How to evaluate the effectiveness of group intervention activities and better provide experience summary for the same type of group intervention.Based on the author’s previous literature review and research,the author designed a group intervention program of "Waiting for Flowers to Bloom,Guarding Growth",and conducted a7-day group intervention on eight of their adolescents.The following conclusions were reached in this study:The main problems of Internet addiction adolescents with perceived self efficacy bias include self cognitive bias,communication barriers,sensitivity,emotional repression,lack of life goals,weak willpower and executive power.The causes of perceived self efficacy problems in Internet addiction adolescents include family education investment and high expectations,academic test taking self-confidence,"labeling" of adolescents,attribution styles,and so on;The effect of group work intervention on improving self efficacy among internet addicted adolescents is significant;The dominance perspective theory and social support theory provide guidance for the improvement of Internet addiction adolescents’ self-efficacy,and the group work method has certain advantages in intervening in the practice of Internet addiction adolescents’ self-efficacy;The "Waiting for Flowers to Bloom,Guarding Growth" team evaluated the research results through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods,confirming that this study achieved the research goal of improving the self-efficacy of Internet addicted adolescents,providing reference value for youth social work and school related departments.
