| With the frequent occurrence of malignant events such as self injury and suicide among the Chinese population,as educators,we should educate children with a more positive attitude to cherish life and strive to maintain the safety and dignity of every life.The purpose of this study is to understand and analyze the current situation and characteristics of middle school students’ life values,and to explore the effectiveness of mindfulness meditation group counseling courses in enhancing middle school students’ life values.This study used various methods such as literature review,interviews,questionnaires,experiments,and data analysis to investigate middle school students from a middle school in Honggutan District,Nanchang City,Jiangxi Province.A total of 324 valid questionnaires were collected,and the last 27% of the total were divided into low groups.After conducting pre interviews with low group members and combining voluntary principles,20 members were divided into the experimental class and the control class.Set up an eight session plan for mindfulness meditation group counseling,and provide eight weeks of mindfulness meditation group counseling to the experimental group members,once a week,with no intervention in the control group.Conduct a pre test before the start of the group tutoring course,a post test after the end of the group tutoring course,and track the effectiveness of the experimental group three months after training.Compare the pre and post test and follow-up data of the experimental group and the control group to evaluate the implementation effect of mindfulness meditation group counseling.Results:1.The levels of cherishing life,goal existence,self-management,and gratitude and dedication in male students were significantly higher than those in female students(P<0.05).2.After the implementation of mindfulness meditation group counseling,there was a significant difference in the scores of life values between the pre test and post test among the experimental group students(P<0.05),and the intervention effect was still maintained three months after the end of group counseling;There is no significant difference in the scores of life values between the pre test and post test among the control group studentsTherefore,this study concludes that the mindfulness meditation group counseling program is effective and can provide a certain reference for improving the educational practice of middle school students’ life values,which has certain reference and promotion value. |
