A Study Of Digital Labor In The Context Of Marx’s Labor Theory

With the rapid development of digital technology and the arrival of the digital information era,the productivity of human society has greatly improved,and the degree of global informatization and digitization has become increasingly high.The digital economy has gradually become an important component of the world economy,and may also become the main form of labor production in the near future.Digital labor,as the main form of labor in the digital information era,has attracted widespread attention and discussion in the academic community.Domestic and foreign scholars have analyzed the nature,specific manifestations,and processes of digital labor from different fields.In the process of research,they have found that digital labor using advanced digital technology for production activities can greatly enhance the productivity of the entire society and greatly promote economic development,At the same time,the immaturity of this digital economy will also lead to serious imbalances in production,distribution,exchange,and consumption in the economy.Especially under capitalist conditions,the concealment of digital capital exploitation is stronger,and the characteristics of digital labor alienation that are difficult to eliminate gradually emerge.To avoid and solve these series of problems with both generality and particularity,it is necessary to clarify the essence and characteristics of digital labor,combine Marx’s labor value theory and surplus value theory,clarify the differences and connections between digital labor in the capitalist and socialist commodity economy,and seek different solutions to the problems brought about by digital labor.This article uses research methods such as literature research,comparative analysis,and the combination of theory and practice to comprehensively collate existing viewpoints in the academic community.Firstly,based on Marx’s labor concept,and combining the current situation of digital labor,it provides basic regulations for digital labor,summarizes the connotation,essence,and characteristics of digital labor,and points out that digital labor is based on digital information and technology as the means of production,Productive material labor conducted through digital platforms is a new manifestation of labor in the digital information era.Secondly,from the standpoint of Marx’s labor theory of value,this paper examines the generation logic of digital goods.Through analyzing the dual factors of digital goods and the duality of digital labor,it seeks the source of value of digital goods,thereby affirming the essence that digital labor is still a labor that creates value,and then differentiates and analyzes the new features and forms that appear in the process of creating value of digital labor;Thirdly,using the theory of surplus value to analyze how to produce surplus value in the process of digital labor under the capitalist system,by investigating the formation and accumulation process of surplus value,revealing the formation logic of digital capital,and criticizing the new characteristics of digital capital exploitation and exploitation phenomena such as digital fetishism and digital enclosure movement;From the following,summarize the alienation phenomenon generated during the formation and development of digital labor,and clarify that the root cause of digital labor alienation is still the capitalist system with private ownership as the main body.The refinement of the division of labor in the digital society has made workers increasingly less free,exacerbating the production of digital labor alienation.By using the perspective of Marxist political economics,explore the reasons and practical difficulties that digital labor alienation is difficult to eliminate,Finding a way out for the liberation of digital labor;Finally,it is clarified that private ownership of the means of production is the prerequisite for the logical formation of digital capital.When constructing the digital economy,China should focus on giving full play to the advantages of the economic system with public ownership as the main body,pay attention to the common issues of unrelated systems that arise during the development and maturity of digital labor,and achieve high-quality development of our digital economy in the process of sublating these universal issues,To empower China’s economic development while creating a healthy and healthy social environment,and promote the construction of a socialist modern power based on the realization of the construction of a digital China.
