| Since the emergence of the state,people have paid much attention to frontier and frontier governance,which is of great significance to national governance and civic education.After the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the state attached great importance to the stability and development of the frontier,which was reflected in the history teaching in middle schools.In the national unified middle school history textbooks,there is a lot of knowledge about frontier governance.In recent years,the examination questions about Chinas border control often appear in the middle school entrance examination and college entrance examination.But in the past,the knowledge about frontier governance was often marginalized in history teaching,and the history teachers in junior middle school had not enough research and teaching experience in this field,and the students did not know how to learn these scattered frontier knowledge.With the deepening of the curriculum reform and the promulgation of the new curriculum standards,big concept teaching has emerged as the times require.Big concepts can connect scattered,trivial knowledge into a whole and give it meaning.By using the methods of literature study,theory study and text analysis,we combine the frontier administration with the big concept,the study of the teaching content of the history of the frontier in Chinese history,compiled under the general concept of“The governance of the frontier”,is beneficial to the teachers to set up the train of knowledge,to help the students to form the framework of knowledge and to deepen their understanding of the textbooks,to see the essence through the surface,to cultivate the core quality,to establish the Chinese Volksgemeinschaft.Based on the concept of“Frontier Governance”,this paper combs the teaching contents of the new curriculum standard and the Chinese history edited by the unified edition,this paper finds out the three characteristics of the contents of the frontier history in the Chinese history edited as a whole: more and more contents of“Frontier governance” in the textbooks,diversified ways of frontier governance,and dispersed contents of frontier governance.Three teaching principles are put forward: to establish the consciousness of the concept of“Border Control”,to find its inner law and to realize the significance of the teaching of the concept of“Border Control”.This paper puts forward some teaching suggestions for the teaching contents of the five sections of frontier history in Chinese history.According to the research,the teaching of the concept of "Frontier governance" should focus on the two main themes of the unit,namely,the consciousness of Chinese Volksgemeinschaft and the establishment and development of a unified multi-ethnic state.To achieve Chinese border governance to carry out the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people in history teaching in middle schools,to cultivate students core competence in disciplines,to promote the modernization of state governance,and to solidify the consciousness of Chinese Volksgemeinschaft. |
