The core concept of mathematics is the connection point of mathematical knowledge,which is the solid focus of students’ cognitive structure,and the mathematical thinking method reflected by it is a strong link between mathematical knowledge and the basis for solving mathematical problems.The history of the core concepts of mathematics restores the original appearance of the concepts,contains mathematical thinking methods,and can help students better understand the essence of the core concepts of mathematics and improve their mathematical thinking ability.The "General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition 2020Revision)" states: "Grasp the essence of the core concepts of mathematics and clarify what is the general method of mathematics." Therefore,enabling high school teachers and students to correctly understand the mathematical ideas,methods and historical origins contained in the core concepts of mathematics is a key part of the teaching process.Based on this,this paper applies literature analysis,word frequency analysis,questionnaire survey,interview,text analysis and case analysis.By investigating the understanding of the history and ideological methods of high school teachers and students on the core concepts of mathematics,it is found that the combination of the history of the core concepts of mathematics and the teaching of the core concepts of mathematics in high schools needs to be improved,and the demand of teachers and students for the mathematical history materials related to the core concepts of mathematics is high.Structural Characteristics of the Ball" two concept lessons as examples for teaching design and implementation,and obtain teaching feedback.This paper draws the following conclusions:(1)The origin of the 16 core concepts of mathematics is mainly distributed in 8 modules: historical journey,symbol forum,character business card,interesting puzzle and wonderful arithmetic,mathematical science,mathematical story,wonderful mathematical error and poetry station,of which the historical journey module runs through 25 mathematical thinking methods,the poetry station module refines the history of the core concepts into small poems,and the wonderful mathematical error module deepens students’ understanding of the core concepts of mathematics from the negative side by listing wrong questions.Supplemented with mathematical history materials that match the core concepts of high school mathematics,highlighting the role of mathematical thinking methods;(2)Discover the history of the core concepts of mathematics,which is of great significance in understanding the essence of concepts,improving mathematical thinking,cultivating core literacy,igniting enthusiasm for learning,strengthening moral cultivation,promoting mathematical culture,and assisting the development of STEAM education and HPM education;(3)The teaching design mode of "concept formation process-history of mathematics module-integration method of history of mathematics" is constructed,and the content of history of mathematics is integrated into the teaching of core concepts in modules,which is convenient for teachers to use history of mathematics efficiently and reduce the teaching burden,which is also one of the innovations of this paper.This paper has the following suggestions:(1)In terms of textbook preparation: the history of core concepts of mathematics can be appropriately added to the introduction,thinking,marginal notes,text,exercises,reading and thinking in the textbook.(2)Teachers: teachers can carry out the teaching design of core concepts with the history of mathematics according to the "process-module-method" model,and pay attention to the teaching of mathematical ideas and methods;In addition,teachers can post-post the content of the history of mathematics to reasonably control the teaching time.(3)Students: Students can independently read the history of the core concepts of mathematics,feel the charm of mathematical culture,understand the value of mathematics,and experience the beauty of mathematics.
