| In China’s rural areas,residents’ awareness of waste classification is generally low,and their awareness and habits of waste classification are poor.The supervision and implementation capacity of the management department is insufficient,and the correct guidance to residents is lacking.The garbage classification and related work in rural areas can not be well promoted.Rural waste classification is closely related to the production and life of rural residents.Whether residents can actively participate in waste classification is an important basis for determining the local waste classification.Garbage classification is related to the construction of living environment and is one of the important standards to determine the level of rural social development.Doing a good job of garbage classification is not only the basic requirement in the construction of living environment,but also an important link to improve the living environment of rural residents,improve the quality of life of rural residents and popularize relevant national regulations and policies.Driven by the construction of national human settlements and the work of "entrepreneurship and innovation",social workers have the opportunity to participate in the waste classification in rural areas based on the diversified background of social governance.From the perspective of participatory community governance theory and ecological environment theory,this study uses three methods: literature method,questionnaire survey method and unstructured interview method to find the problems existing in individual and community aspects of rural waste classification,and design the project activity plan.The project is carried out with the support of the local government and the neighborhood committee.In the project,social workers help local residents achieve the project objectives by using two professional methods of social work: group work and community work.In the group work,recruit volunteers in the village and provide education and training to volunteers.The education and training contents include garbage classification knowledge,garbage classification related policies and the importance of garbage classification.Provide empowerment services for volunteers through a variety of group games,cultivate volunteers’ awareness and habits of waste classification,influence individuals with group work and improve their abilities,and drive the improvement of families and communities from the improvement of personal awareness.In community work,carry out garbage classification publicity activities for other residents to improve residents’ awareness of garbage classification,and then cultivate residents’ garbage classification habits through practical village daily garbage classification activities.Finally,through teenagers’ garbage classification activities to improve more residents’ garbage classification awareness.With the cooperation of group work and community work,local residents’ cognition,awareness and habits of waste classification have been improved to a certain extent,and good results have been achieved during the project.Local residents themselves have positive feedback on the waste classification project,which has played a certain role in helping the construction of local living environment. |
