A Study On The Strategy Of Social Work Intervention In The Development Of Suburban Rural Livelihood Capacity

In the new era,the main contradiction in China has turned into the contradiction between the people’s growing needs for a better life and unbalanced and insufficient development.The biggest imbalance in China is the unbalanced development of urban and rural areas,and the biggest insufficiency is the inadequate development of rural areas.Under the condition of eliminating absolute poverty,the livelihood problem of most villages in China is still prominent.Even in the suburban rural areas of the first tier big cities,it has certain advantageous geographical conditions,but how to give play to the villagers’ subjectivity,stimulate the endogenous power of villages,highlight the advantages of the suburban rural areas,promote the increase of farmers’ output and income,and improve the sustainable livelihood development ability of the suburban rural areas,It is an important task for our country to realize the overall revitalization of the countryside at present and for some time to come.In recent years,formal and informal resources have been pouring into the countryside.Among them,supply and marketing cooperatives,the traditional economic organization serving agriculture,rural areas and farmers,help to form a new countryside with prosperous industry,rich life and integrated urban and rural development by purchasing rural social work services.Social workers in the context of supply and marketing cooperatives purchase are different from those in the context of civil affairs purchase.Social workers in the context of supply and marketing cooperatives pay more attention to rural industrial economy and livelihood development based on the characteristics of the economic organization of supply and marketing cooperatives.This paper is based on the practice of X social worker institution in Guangzhou in carrying out rural social worker services in Y Lian Pian Village in the suburbs,takes the sustainable livelihood framework as the theory,and takes social workers’ involvement in the sustainable livelihood capacity development of Y Lian Pian Village as the research object.It uses case studies,semi-structured interviews,participatory observation and other research methods to collect a large amount of data,analyze the sustainable livelihood problems in Y Lian Pian Village,and sort out its livelihood capital.Social workers use multiple work methods such as case studies,groups and community activities to link social resources and build a platform for promoting sustainable livelihood development in rural areas.Based on the exploration of village practice,try to form an effective path for social workers to help the sustainable livelihood development of suburban rural areas.Show how rural social workers empower villagers and activate livelihood capital.Strengthen community education and improve the livelihood ability of farmers.Develop multiple strategies and optimize the livelihood strategy.It is expected to provide experience for social work to intervene in suburban rural livelihood development.
