| Through interval exercises,practitioners can re-code more elements and details in the subsequent time,so that the schema of information is strengthened and refined,thereby strengthening the consolidation of knowledge.Therefore,the study of interval exercise is helpful to give full play to the effect of interval exercise on knowledge consolidation.At present,the research on spaced practice is mainly focused on mathematics,language,English and other fields,and the knowledge types investigated are single,mostly factual declarative knowledge;Although some studies suggest that the performance of interval exercise may be different in different knowledge types and cognitive levels,it has not been studied deeply.In addition,there is a great dispute about the interval exercise method in previous studies,so we still find the best interval method.Therefore,on the basis of existing studies,this study further explores the influence of spaced practice on different knowledge types,different task degrees and different interval ways,so as to obtain the application effect of spaced practice on chemical knowledge consolidation.In this study,spaced practice is introduced into the real chemistry classroom teaching.With "Amount of Substance" as the teaching content and exercises related to Amount of Substance as the experimental material,quasi-experimental research method is adopted to study the application effect of spaced practice on the consolidation of chemical knowledge.The research mainly focuses on three questions,namely,does spaced practice have the same effect on different knowledge types? Is there any difference in the effect of spacing exercises on knowledge at different cognitive levels? In which spacing exercises work best? The research contents are as follows:(1)Explore the influence of spaced practice and concentrated practice on the consolidation of chemical knowledge,investigate whether there is a difference in the application effect of spaced practice on declarative and procedural chemical knowledge,and explore whether the interval effect is affected by different types of knowledge.(2)Explore the effect of spaced practice on chemical knowledge consolidation at different cognitive levels,compare the difference between spaced practice and concentrated practice on knowledge consolidation at different cognitive levels,and obtain the effect of spaced practice on different cognitive levels.(3)Explore the difference between the isometric form,the extended form and the reduced form,and get the best spaced practice mode conducive to knowledge consolidation.This paper is mainly studied through three experiments.Experiment 1 explores the effect of interval exercise on declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge,and explores whether interval effect is affected by different knowledge types.Experiment 2 explored the effect of interval exercise on knowledge at different cognitive levels.Experiment 3 explores the influence of different spacing methods on the effect of spacing exercises.In order to ensure the rigor and science of the experiment and exclude the influence of irrelevant variables on the experimental results,the research objects are all selected at the same level to ensure the same teachers,teaching time and progress,and teaching conditions.After the experiment,SPSS 24.0 was used to conduct independent sample t test on students’ test scores,and the results were analyzed to draw a conclusion.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)The effect of spaced practice on knowledge consolidation was affected by different knowledge types,and the effect on chemical declarative knowledge was better than chemical procedural knowledge.(2)Interval exercise has different performance at different cognitive levels,and has the best effect on consolidating knowledge at the level of memory and understanding.(3)Different spacing methods will affect the effect of spacing exercises,and the reduced spacing exercises have the best effect on knowledge consolidation.By discussing the application effect of spaced practice in different knowledge types and cognitive levels,as well as the influence of different interval ways on spaced practice,this study studies the consolidation effect of spaced practice on chemical knowledge,which can not only enrich the application research of spaced practice,but also enrich the relevant theoretical research at the stage of knowledge consolidation.Moreover,it can provide scientific guidance for the application of spaced practice in practical teaching,so as to improve students’ learning efficiency. |
