With the development of the times and the steady progress of educational reform,people began to reflect on the traditional “knowledge education”,and we have realized that the cultivation of “knowledge people” can not meet the needs of social development,it is the main knowledge flow for our society to cultivate “wisdom people”.In the current chemistry teaching,there is a phenomenon of“knowledge-emphasizing and wisdom-neglecting”,many teachers still only focus on the transmission of knowledge and skills,while ignoring the ability to cultivate students to apply their knowledge,and they do not to develop the wisdom of students as teaching focus.If things continue this way,cultivated students can not digest the knowledge,let alone the generation of wisdom.Therefore,we should promote the creation of students' wisdom as the main purpose of teaching,so that students can generate the wisdom through the learned knowledge,and we can achieve the “transforming knowledge into wisdom” in the classroom teaching.This paper discusses the relevant theory of “transforming knowledge into wisdom”,the role and meaning of “transforming knowledge into wisdom” in chemistry teaching and how to realize the “transforming knowledge into wisdom” in teaching through literature analysis.Through the investigation and interview method,the author conducted a survey on the application of the concept of “transforming knowledge into wisdom” in chemistry teaching of middle schools,and the author puts forward the application strategy of “transforming knowledge into wisdom” in practical teaching,and using the typical teaching case to elaborate the application strategy.The reseach result shows that,developing the wisdom of students is one of the requests demanded by the modern society and it is the core of improving the scientific knowledge of students,because it requires students to study the relevant background information of chemistry in order to put the knowledge into practical use.Taking chemistry classes is one of the ways to effectively instill more knowledge to student and with the help from the lectures,they are pretty helpful for students to be more intelligent.Helping students to be more intelligent should follow the following orders.The procedure is knowledge-acquiring-----Active internalization-----Put knowledge into practice-----Rational reflection-----wisdom generation.The application of the concept of“transforming knowledge into wisdom” in chemistry teaching has certain guidingsignificance for the students' cooperative ability,autonomous ability,problem-solving ability.Due to the limited ability of this paper,more efforts are needed to apply the concept of “transforming knowledge into wisdom” in chemistry teaching.It is hoped that this paper would provide reference for first-line chemistry teachers in implementing the concept of “transforming knowledge into wisdom”.
