| Modern curriculum reform emphasizes and attaches importance to the cultivation and development of students’ core literacy.The Standard of Mathematics Curriculum for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)points out that "mathematics curriculum should cultivate students’ core literacy,which is mainly reflected in three aspects-first,they can observe the real world with mathematical vision;second,they can think about the real world with mathematical thinking;third,they can express the real world with mathematical language." In addition,The Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)also defines the main performance of core literacy in primary and secondary schools.Among them,the sense of quantity,as one of the main manifestations of the core literacy in primary school,was put forward separately and defined as "the intuitive perception of the measurable attributes and size relationship of things".After searching the literature,it was found that before that,the sense of quantity was generally included in the sense of quantity,teachers paid insufficient attention to the cultivation of students’ sense of quantity,and the relevant research on the cultivation of students’ sense of quantity was also less.Based on the above reasons,this study uses the literature method,text analysis method,case study method and investigation method,from the perspective of teaching design and implementation,focuses on the cultivation of primary school students’ sense of quantity,and aims to explore the process and ideas of teaching design for primary school students’ sense of quantity cultivation,providing reference for front-line teachers.This study mainly includes the following aspects:First,it interprets the meaning of the study on the cultivation of primary school students’ sense of quantity.Through consulting the literature,the connotation of the sense of quantity,the role and value of the cultivation of the sense of quantity in primary school students are clarified,and on this basis,the characteristics of the teaching of the cultivation of the sense of quantity in primary school students are expounded,namely,intuitive,progressive and exploratory.In the process of cultivating students’ sense of quantity,we need to follow the principle of combining abstract and intuitive,systematic and progressive,and receptive and exploratory.The second is to clarify the basis,principle and process of the teaching design for the cultivation of primary school students’ sense of quantity.Among them,the design basis mainly includes the students’ learning situation,the requirements of the new curriculum standard and the teaching content.The main principles of design mainly include the principle of adaptability,the principle of activity and the principle of feasibility.The specific design process mainly includes five links,namely,the analysis of the learning situation,the formulation of the goal of the sense of quantity cultivation,the organization of the content of the sense of quantity cultivation,the design of the process of the sense of quantity cultivation,and the design of the teaching evaluation of the sense of quantity cultivation.Third,the teaching design for the cultivation of primary school students’ sense of quantity has been specifically implemented.Taking the content of "How long is a meter" in the third volume of primary school mathematics in the Northern Normal University Edition as an example,the author followed a certain design process to carry out a complete teaching design,and implemented the teaching design in a real teaching environment.Finally,it analyzes and reflects on the effect of the teaching design and implementation of the cultivation of primary school students’ sense of quantity.The implementation effect is analyzed through interviews with students and teachers and students’ after-class tests.The analysis found that:first,students’ interest in learning was stimulated;Second,students’ participation in class has been significantly improved;Third,students’ sense of quantity is cultivated and developed.In order to better cultivate students’ sense of quantity,the following three points should be paid attention to when carrying out teaching design: first,the teaching design should be based on the real situation and rely on the real situation to cultivate students’ sense of quantity;Secondly,the teaching design should pay attention to the starting point of students’ knowledge and promote the development of students’ sense of quantity with the help of practical activities in line with students’ life experience;Third,attention should be paid to normalizing students’ mathematical expression in teaching design,and using standardized mathematical language to promote the development of students’ sense of quantity. |
