| “ The Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022Edition)”clearly states that sense of quantity is one of the most important manifestations of primary school mathematics core literacy,which is the empirical basis for the formation of students’ abstract ability and application consciousness.Cultivating a sense of quantity is helpful for students to develop a good habit of understanding and solving problems by quantitative methods.However,there are some problems in the current teaching activities,such as lack of sense of quantity cultivation,shallow understanding of measurement units and weak awareness of measurement.As the implementer of the curriculum concept,teachers should actively explore how to promote the development of students’ sense of quantity in the teaching process,so that the sense of quantity can take root.Through literature review,case analysis,teacher-student interview survey,classroom observation and other methods,this paper studies the teaching design of mathematical sense of quantity cultivation in primary schools,finds the existing problems in the teaching design of mathematical sense of quantity cultivation in primary schools,analyzes their attribution,and finally puts forward optimization strategies for the teaching design of mathematical sense of quantity cultivation in primary schools.It is hoped to provide reference for teachers in the teaching design of quantitative sense,so as to promote the development of students’ quantitative sense more effectively and improve students’ mathematical core literacy.This paper theoretically explores the sense of quantity in primary school mathematics.On the one hand,through literature review,it concludes that the sense of quantity in primary school mathematics has four main characteristics: intuitive image,experiential process,progressive development and result approximation.On the other hand,it sorts out the composition of mathematics sense of quantity in primary school,involving length,area,quality,volume,volume,time,money value and so on.Cultivating the sense of quantity can help students improve and perfect the core quality of mathematics,understand mathematical thoughts and improve the ability of estimation.The characteristics of mathematics sense cultivation in primary school are diversification of activities,situational life,process continuity and relative concretization.The ways to cultivate the sense of quantity in primary school mathematics mainly include promoting the sense of measurement,understanding the unit of measurement,mastering the tools of measurement and perfecting the strategy of measurement.Based on this,the teaching design of mathematics sense cultivation in primary school has four characteristics: emphasizing the creation of real situation,emphasizing the overall teaching content,focusing on enriching students’ experience,and emphasizing the ability of reasoning and reflection.The teaching design of mathematics quantity sense cultivation in primary school should follow four principles:reality principle,integrity principle,pluralism principle and development principle.In the actual investigation,through interviews with teachers and students,case analysis of teaching design and classroom observation,researchers found that teaching design for the cultivation of quantitative sense in primary school mathematics has such problems as failure to fully reflect core qualities in teaching objectives,lack of structured organization of teaching content,lack of continuity in teaching process,and failure of teaching evaluation to effectively stimulate the cultivation of quantitative sense.The reason is that teachers do not pay enough attention to the cultivation of students’ sense of quantity,teaching methods are not conducive to the cultivation of sense of quantity,students do not have enough continuous experience of sense of quantity and the concept of sense of quantity is relatively abstract,so it is difficult to cultivate sense of quantity.On the basis of theoretical analysis and practical investigation,the researcher puts forward the teaching design strategy of cultivating the sense of quantity in primary school teaching.First,teaching content design needs to coordinate the sense of quantity content.In order to help students develop sense of quantity in a systematic and structured way,the teaching content of sense of quantity is sorted out and mastered from the perspective of integration and structure.Second,the design of teaching objectives should pay attention to behavioral orientation.Under the guidance of behavioral orientation,the teaching objectives can be clearly established and the sense of strength can be implemented.Third,the design of teaching methods needs the cultivation of abundant sense of quantity.The rich teaching method provides a lot of activity experience and perceptual experience,which lays the foundation for the improvement of quantity sense.Fourth,the teaching process design emphasizes both thinking activities and sensory participation.On the basis of perceptual experience and rational thinking,we can effectively master and apply the sense of quantity.Fifth,teaching evaluation pays attention to the level of external sense of quantity.It provides opportunities for sustainable development of sense of quantity through multidimensional evaluation and practical work. |
