| With the development of society, the pursuit of spiritual civilization, including arts education, has been increasingly emphasized. The Ministry of Education has pointed out in the document "Compulsory Education Curriculum Standards for Art Courses" that "art courses are comprehensive courses. They inherit and carry forward the traditional Chinese culture of poetry, song, dance, and painting, promoting the comprehensive development of students’ artistic ability and humanistic quality, which is of great significance to the construction of socialist spiritual civilization."The focus of this study is on the comprehensive nature of the art curriculum emphasized in the "Compulsory Education Curriculum Standards for Art Courses" and the practicality of art education.Through this study,we hope to promote interdisciplinary integration, break down disciplinary barriers, and increase mutual communication between disciplines.By using the interdisciplinary integration teaching of musicals as a practical activity, students can have a more comprehensive and three-dimensional experience of the interaction between art and art,art and humanities, art and culture, art and life, and art and emotions, laying a good foundation for achieving the goal of "holistic education."The research adopts methods such as literature review, case study, interviews, and interdisciplinary research. The research and argumentation of this topic are divided into four parts: the introduction, which clarifies the research background, significance, research methods, and literature review;the main body, divided into three parts. The first part defines the concepts of interdisciplinary integration and musical drama, and presents the author’s research and reflections on the introduction of musical dramas into secondary school practices based on the investigation of the relatively mature Beijing S High School Musical Society. The second part analyzes the necessity and feasibility of incorporating musical drama teaching and practice into junior high school campus music activities.Under necessity analysis, the author summarizes the current situation and limitations of music activities in primary and secondary schools, and explains how this research helps strengthen the connection between disciplines, overcome existing limitations, and align with two educational theories.Under feasibility analysis, the author analyzes the reflection of curriculum standards, the suitability for the physical and mental development of secondary school students, and the promotion of resource development for junior high school campus activities. The third part focuses on the teaching practice of the musical drama “Aladdin” in a junior high school campus under the background of interdisciplinary integration,as well as the summary and discussion of the results and conclusions of this activity.Through the exploration of teaching and practical activities of junior high school campus music activities under the background of interdisciplinary integration, this research provides some reference value for future research on “curriculum integration” and “artistic practice.” It covers the initial curriculum integration conception, theoretical support, and practical steps of both the onstage and offstage production of the musical drama, offering insights into enhancing students’ comprehensive abilities through their active participation in the musical production process. The positive effects of this practical activity on students’ emotional attitudes and values are also elaborated in detail, providing research directions and practical significance for further in-depth studies in this field. |
