| The age of 3-6 is a period of rapid physical development and a critical stage in the development of children’s sense of security.According to Piaget’s cognitive development theory,children in this stage are in the pre-operational development stage,full of curiosity about the external world and trying to use various senses to explore the world.However,at the same time,children at this stage also have imperfect cognitive development and lack complete self-protection awareness and self-protection ability.Naturally,the safety of young children has become a focus of attention for parents,teachers and society as a whole.Therefore,it is very important to carry out safety education activities in kindergartens to enhance children’s safety awareness and improve their self-protection ability.In this study,the children in the first class of H Kindergarten in Qiongzhong County,Hainan Province,were selected as the subjects of the study.During the internship,the interview method,observation method and action research method were used to study and explore the current situation and problems of safety education activities carried out in kindergartens,and to try to propose specific improvement measures based on the analysis of the problems.The thesis is divided into four sections,as follows:The first part is the introduction,which provides a general overview of the origins of the study,the research questions,the significance and purpose of the study,the definition of core concepts,the theoretical foundations,the literature review and the research design to set the stage for the subsequent study.The second part is the preparatory stage of the action research,which provides a general overview of the current situation of safety education activities in kindergarten H,the current situation of role play applied to safety education activities for older children,the analysis of the problems of role play applied to safety education activities for young children and the design ideas of the action research to provide a basis for the implementation of the subsequent research.The third part is the implementation phase of the action research study.This study consists of three action research studies,which were carried out according to the actual situation of safety in kindergarten H.The three actions were: action research on the application of role play to the safety of viral hygiene for older children;action research on the application of role play to the safety of children riding the school bus;and action research on the application of role play to the safety of children’s food.The fourth part is the summary and suggestions of the action research,including the effectiveness and shortcomings of the role play applied to kindergarten safety education activities,in order to make the role play better applied to kindergarten safety education activities,the author puts forward educational suggestions from multiple perspectives.Third,the use of game conflicts to enrich the connotation of safety education,fourth,multiple ways to improve the comprehensive literacy of teachers to apply role play in kindergarten safety education activities,and fifth,the full use of parental resources to form educational synergy to improve the awareness of self-protection of young children. |
