| Problem-based learning(PBL)has been a hot topic in the education field since the1980 s.In recent years,with the gradual deepening of PBL teaching practice,the problems existing in PBL teaching have become increasingly prominent.It has become an urgent task for every educator and front-line teacher to examine,analyze and solve these problems from a new perspective.High school mathematics PBL(PBL in Senior High School Mathematics from a Holistic Perspective,H-PBL)teaching is based on the holistic thought,and examines the problems existing in the current PBL teaching from the perspectives of the whole subject,the whole of knowledge and the overall development of people.H-PBL teaching research will not only help to enrich the PBL teaching theory,but also help to deepen the overall understanding of PBL teaching in first-line high school mathematics teachers,so as to implement the educational goal of comprehensive education.The research mainly focuses on the following questions:(1)what are the nature and characteristics of H-PBL teaching?(2)What is the H-PBL teaching status quo? What are the existing problems and the causes?(3)How to better implement H-PBL teaching?Based on the holistic teaching theory and the PBL teaching theory,the essence and characteristics of H-PBL teaching are clearly defined.H-PBL teaching is essentially high school mathematics PBL teaching under the guidance of holistic thought.Its main features are:(1)the integrity of problem experience;(2)the relevance of problem design;(3)the unity of situation creation.According to the nature and characteristics of H-PBL teaching,the questionnaire for high school students was prepared,and exploratory factor analysis,confirmatory factor analysis and reliability validity test of the questionnaire using Mplus,SPSS and AMOS software.The questionnaire method was used to investigate the current situation of "learning" of high school mathematics PBL students,and the current situation of "teaching" of high school mathematics PBL teachers was investigated by using a comprehensive interview teaching method and classroom teaching video analysis method.The survey found that the problems in the current high school mathematics PBL teaching include: students ’weak awareness of problems,students’ ability to put forward problems and mathematical language expression ability,teachers’ lack of understanding of the problem correlation and situation unity.Through the cause analysis of the above problems,the specific suggestions are put forward as follows:(1)change the concept of "teaching" and "learning" between teachers and students,strengthen the students’ ability to put forward problems and mathematical language expression ability;(2)pay attention to the mathematics of practical problems to ensure the integrity of mathematical problem experience;(3)pay attention to the systematic problem design to ensure the correlation between problems;(4)create an appropriate problem situation to ensure the unity of the situation and experience. |
