A Research On College Counselors’ Network Ideological And Political Education Competence

In order to effectively promote the specialized and professional development of college counselor team,the Ministry of Education issued the latest revised Regulations on the Construction of College Counselor Team in 2017,In this file,the ideological and political education based on internet is listed as one of the nine duties of college counselors.Such deployment not only reveals the realistic demands of the reform and innovation of ideological and political education of college students in the network era,but also promotes the horizontal development of the academic research vision of the ideological and political education competence construction of college counselors due to the trend of time,which has profound theoretical implications and times value.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out research on the ideological and political education based on internet for college counselors.It can be found from previous studies,the network ideological and political education competence of college counselors has been "attached" to the research of network ideological and political education in colleges and universities for a long time,and the related specialized and systematic research results are few.In view of this,this paper firstly combs the research results related to the network ideological and political education competence of college counselors,explores the research space,and looks for the corresponding theoretical basis.After that,following the people-oriented principle,systematic principle,developmental principle and hierarchical principle,combining the theoretical basis of competence and the research results of existing scholars,this paper determines the indicators at all levels of network ideological and political education for college counselors,that is,the indicators are ideological education knowledge,political education knowledge,moral education knowledge,information literacy knowledge,the network ideological and political education design skills,the network ideological and political education resource utilization skills,the network ideological and political education communication skills,the network ideological and political education evaluation skills,external motivation,personal experience,affinity and pursuit of excellence.Finally,this paper scientifically compiled the Questionnaire On The Status Quo Of College Counselors’ Network Ideological And Political Education Capcompetence,and conducted an investigation on the status quo of college counselors’ network ideological and political education competence after quality analysis of the questionnaire.According to the results of the study,the overall competency of college counselors in network ideological and political education is relatively high,but the individual competence needs to be improved.In addition,there are significant differences between the network ideological and political education competence of college counselors and gender,age,time of employment,professional and technical positions,but there are no significant differences with the disciplines with the highest academic qualifications,and the number of students in charge.Based on this,through interviews,further clarification of the shortcomings of the network ideological and political education competence of college counselors,namely,the need for complete information literacy knowledge,the need to improve resource utilization skills,the need to effective stimulate external motivation,and the need to accumulate life and social experience.Therefore,from the four aspects of cultivating information literacy knowledge,innovating resource utilization methods,improving evaluation and incentive systems,and enriching life and social experience,targeted efforts can be made to enhance the network ideological and political education competence of college counselors.
