An Action Research On Promoting The Professional Development Of Physical Education Teachers In A Small Rural School Consortium In J District Of C City From A Community Perspective

Abstract/Summary:
This study takes improving the professional development of physical education teachers in six rural small-scale schools in District J of C city as the entry point,analyzes the core content of promoting the professional development path of physical education teachers by the rural small-scale school alliance in District J,and discusses the role played by the community action of the rural small-scale school alliance in promoting the professional development of rural physical education teachers.Guided by qualitative research methods,the researchers adopted action research,field research and other methods to visit the member schools of the rural small-scale school alliance in District J for many times.Methods such as participatory observation,indirect observation,interview,questionnaire and collection of physical data were adopted for analysis in combination with three rounds of action research and comprehensive literature to form a triangle of mutual verification.Finally,the research results were presented in the form of action research and narrative.The research shows that,under the joint system design of the administrative promotion of J District Education Bureau and the informal connection of the member schools of the alliance,under the intervention and guidance of the expert guidance team of D University,according to the actual situation of the region,the rural small-scale school alliance of J District has drawn up the professional development plan of promoting physical education teachers,and has made beneficial attempts in practice.Guided by XH Primary School,a high quality sports school within the Alliance,the Alliance provides guidance and assistance to sports weak schools in the alliance through "difference cooperation",and carries out teaching and research training under the guidance of the expert group of D University.The alliance PE teachers’ collective lesson preparation,physical education micro-class teaching,sports network research and training projects,integration of teaching,research and training,the establishment of the alliance PE resource database,the role of the sports "master studio",the establishment of PE teacher exchange system and other cooperation,effectively promote the professional development of PE teachers within the rural small-scale school alliance in District J.And achieved the physical education teacher professional emotion double improvement,students sports participation physical health double improvement,school physical education has achieved comprehensive development stage effect.Through this action study,the following ways are proposed to promote the professional development of physical education teachers: To construct a common vision for the professional development of physical education teachers of the Union,establish a standardized and orderly "compact" learning community for physical education teachers of the Union,strengthen the shared collective learning and individual practice of physical education teachers of the Union,build a sharing platform for high-quality physical education resources of the union,improve the leading power of physical education principals of the Union,and formulate a U-A-S development model for promoting the professional development of physical education teachers of the Union.Research reflection: The practice of rural small-scale school alliance in District J has realized the resource sharing among the member schools to a certain extent,effectively promoted the professional growth of physical education teachers in the alliance,indirectly promoted the development of student physical education in the alliance schools,and promoted the development of rural sports in District J to a high quality and balanced level.However,the professional development of physical education teachers in the union also faces some difficulties: the future trend of professional development of physical education teachers in the Union needs to be further clarified,the connection of professional development of physical education teachers in the Union needs to be further improved,and the learning internalization ability of physical education teachers in the Union needs to be strengthened.
