| Rural boarding high school students are a relatively special group,due to the relatively closed living environment,the lack of parents’ companionship and communication,in the face of school pressure and interpersonal relations and other problems,they are much easier to suffer from depression.Depression not only affects their physical and mental health and social functions,but can even lead to suicidal thoughts and behaviors in severe cases.In previous studies,although there are many studies on the depression of high school students,there are almost no studies on the depression of rural boarding high school students.This study combined the principles of positive psychology with the technique of painting therapy to conduct a descriptive study of depression in rural boarding high school students.In view of the above situation,group painting tutoring was designed to help rural boarding high school students relieve depression,and at the same time to test the effectiveness and sustainability of this intervention mode.In the first study,by means of questionnaire survey,a hierarchical cluster sampling survey was conducted among 650 high school students from a rural boarding school and a non-boarding school in Xishan District,Kunming using Middle School students Depression Scale to explore the current situation of depression among high school students,and their differences in gender,grade,only-child,boarding or not and family origin.Study two is an intervention study,which adopts the experimental design of pre-and post-test,follow-up test of experimental group and control group.Twenty-four rural boarding high school students in study 1 who meet the conditions(meet the total average score of depression scale ≥2,and have no history of mental illness)are randomly divided into two groups.First,the experimental group members received 8online group painting tutoring interventions,while the control group did not do any treatment.At each intervention,members’ sharing was recorded.Secondly,follow-up interviews were conducted with the experimental group members one month after the intervention,relevant class teachers,course teachers and students.At the same time,the first and eighth paintings of some participants and the eighth paintings of individual cases are analyzed.Based on the above,to examine the effect of group painting counseling on rural boarding high school students’ depression intervention,in order to deeply understand the significance of the measurement of group painting therapy and its mechanism of action and effect on relieving depression.To sum up,the following main conclusions can be drawn:1.The depressive moods of senior high school students are greatly different in terms of gender,grade,only-child,boarding or not and family origin.2.The level of depression of rural boarding high school students was higher than that of non-boarding high school students.3.The members who participated in the group painting tutoring had positive changes in interpersonal communication,academic status and other aspects,thus reducing the level of depression.At the same time,it also improves its ability to handle general emotions,interpersonal relationships,and alleviate academic pressure.4.Group painting tutoring has a lasting effect on rural boarding high school students’ depression. |
