| Research purpose: To reveal the characteristics and functions of wild ball culture through a multi perspective perspective of non professional basketball,and provide reference for the current development of non professional basketball in China.Research Method: This study fully utilized online materials(related videos,programs,etc.)and in-depth interviews to conduct an in-depth investigation of the popular "wild ball" in the current basketball field.Research results: There are broad and narrow definitions for wild balls.Broadly defined as "wild ball",it refers to non professional basketball activities and competitions where a team has no relatively stable organizational structure and long-term systematic training.There are three types of competitions that include basketball enthusiasts gathering together in daily life,folk basketball competitions aimed at winning bonuses,and amateur leagues spontaneously organized by the people.The narrow definition of "wild ball" specifically refers to the "amateur" competition in which participants aim to win prizes.The origin of wild ball is closely related to the heavy urban and rural basketball tradition.Thanks to economic development,basketball training,and street basketball,wild ball has developed rapidly.In the long run,the basketball ecosystem in the field of fielding will continue to be optimized.The cultural characteristics of wild ball are material and have the characteristic of being both good and bad.The level of basketball enthusiasts involved varies,and the roles and identities are complex;The site facilities are of mixed quality;The scale of the competition varies depending on the nature and purpose of the competition.At the institutional level,wild ball presents a characteristic of gathering due to the ball.Due to the different purposes of various wild balls,their organizational operations have their own characteristics;The rules of the court are not strict;Basketball participants have strong mobility.At the spiritual level,participants are fundamentally motivated by love.Whether it is the middle-aged and elderly group who mainly focus on leisure and entertainment,the teenagers who dream of basketball,or even the professional field players who make a living with basketball,they are full of love for basketball and have gathered into a huge force for the development of non professional basketball in China;The field world is full of contradictions between ideals and reality.The main function of wild ball is to play the role of "optimizing the ecology" in promoting the development of Chinese basketball.Wildball,due to its involvement in multiple levels,groups,and diversity,has greatly promoted the optimization of basketball ecology through personnel mobility and the commercialization of events.The derivative functions of wild ball are manifested in three aspects: educational function,economic function,and political function.In the process of promoting the physical and mental health of young people,wild ball forms a positive sports subculture;Wildball has greatly promoted the development of rural economy,and the gradual improvement of its competitions has made it a force in the sports industry that drives the development of urban and rural economy;At the same time,the popularity of rural basketball matches has enhanced people’s communication,promoted harmony in grassroots society,and become a sports force that assists in grassroots social governance.Research conclusion: Wildball has reference significance for the development of campus basketball.While enjoying leisure and fitness,we should not exclude the commercialization of wild ball.The "gambling style" of professional fielding is an indispensable form of fielding.The official should reasonably position their own role and determine the way and extent of their intervention. |
