Offensive and defensive confrontation is a distinctive feature of collective sports competitions.The offensive and defensive confrontation in basketball competitions is essentially the competition and transformation of the possession of the game,and the acquisition of the possession of the ball is a key way for participating teams to control and adjust the rhythm of the game,which in turn can affect the team’s competitive performance and even The outcome of the game has a significant impact.Starting from the possession of the game,discuss the competitive performance of the CBA participating teams from the perspective of game rhythm.It is necessary to deeply understand the differences in the competitive performance of teams under different game rhythms,explore important factors that affect the game rhythm,and how to play under different game rhythms.It is very important to improve the competitive performance of CBA participating teams to win the game.Therefore,this study takes the competitive performance of the CBA participating teams in the two seasons from 2020 to 2022 as the research object,and uses the methods of literature review,mathematical statistics,expert interviews,questionnaires and logical analysis to analyze the CBA from the perspective of game rhythm.In-depth research on the competitive performance of the participating teams,and concluded:(1)On the construction of the competitive performance evaluation indicators of the CBA participating teams,the 13 indicators finally selected into the stepwise regression model can be determined as the competitive performance of the CBA participating teams price index;(2)The CBA game can be divided into two game states,fast and slow,according to the possession of the ball.In fast-paced games,the average number of ball possessions per game is 198.61,accounting for 61.12%,and in slow-paced games,the average number of ball possessions is 179.07,accounting for 38.88%;(3)Under the conditions of different game rhythms,the CBA participating teams show differences in many aspects and degrees in terms of their own strength,game wins and losses,and competitive performance during the season.Fast-paced games are more conducive to upstream teams.performance,and the competitive performance of different season stages does not seem to be affected by the rhythm of the game;(4)The CBA home team seems to be able to adjust the offensive and defensive rhythm of the game by improving shooting efficiency,strengthening offensive rebounds,and controlling itself as much as possible or forcing opponents to make mistakes.The away team can control the rhythm of the game by improving or reducing the efficiency of the opponent’s long-range shooting and inside scoring,focusing on rebounding and stealing to gain the ball or destroy the opponent’s ball,and strengthening team assists and controlling game mistakes;(5)In slow-paced games,choosing reasonable shooting opportunities,improving the stability of shooting and scoring inside and outside the game,and strengthening offensive rebounds are the key factors for scoring.In fast-paced games,CBA participating teams need to strengthen collective tactical cooperation to create assists,improve the stability of the team’s inside and mid-to-long distance scoring,and strengthen offensive rebounds and control errors to have a positive performance in order to win the game.
