As a negative product of the Internet,mobile phone dependence has attracted the extensive attention of scholars from all walks of life in recent years.According to previous studies,childhood abuse,rumination and depression are the influencing factors of individual mobile phone dependence.Based on the theory of reaction style theory、social compensation and schema theory,this study explores the effects and influence paths of childhood abuse,rumination,and depression on mobile phone dependence of secondary vocational students.In this study,991 secondary vocational students in Hunan Province were investigated by using the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire(CTQ),Mobile Phone Addiction Index(MPAI),Ruminative Responses Scale(RRS)and Depression Anxiety Stress Scales(DASS).The data analysis results show that:1.The detection rate of mobile phone dependence of secondary vocational students was21.20%.2.There was a significant positive correlation among childhood abuse,mobile phone dependence,rumination,and depression.3.Childhood abuse positively predicted secondary vocational students’ mobile phone dependence.The more serious childhood abuse,the higher individual mobile phone dependence.4.Ruminant thinking and depression play a mediating role between childhood abuse and mobile phone dependence,including three paths: Ruminant thinking alone mediating role,depression alone mediating role,and ruminant thinking depression chain mediating role.According to the above results,this study found that childhood abuse of secondary vocational students can not only directly predict mobile phone dependence but also indirectly predict mobile phone dependence through rumination and depression.Childhood abuse experience will lead to an increase in rumination,which will lead to an increase in depression level,and finally lead to mobile phone dependence.This result suggests that in the intervention of mobile phone dependence of secondary vocational students,we can reduce mobile phone dependence by training rumination thinking and reducing depression.
