| In the information age,micro-course has gradually become a mainstream digital learning resource, bringing great convenience and guidance to learners’ autonomous learning. In terms of the current design and development of micro-course,unicast micro-course is the mainstream, but unicast micro-course can only be viewed statically, with weak interaction issues, resulting in low student engagement in learning and high difficulty in teaching information technology skills based knowledge in junior high schools. For teachers’ operational presentations, most students tend to forget the operational steps. With the widespread application of interaction concepts,in order to enhance learners’ experience and participation,Based on the analysis of existing micro-course resources, the interactive concept is integrated into the micro-course resources, and the skills interactive micro-course is applied in the eighth grade information technology curriculum. Therefore, this study raises the following three questions: First, how to construct a design model for interactive micro-course of skills for junior high school information technology courses? The second is how to choose appropriate skills based interactive micro-course development tools and what experiences and patterns have been accumulated during the development process? How effective is the application of skill based interactive micro-course in junior high school information technology courses? This study starts with the existing research on interactive micro-course at home and abroad, and under the guidance of instructional design theory, distance education teaching hierarchy theory, and cognitive load theory, constructs and optimizes an interactive micro-course design model that includes four dimensions: front-end analysis, design strategy, link design, and evaluation design.Firstly,an investigation was conducted to investigate the learning needs of interactive micro-course through investigation and research methods, and the four dimensions of skills based interactive micro-course were analyzed and designed; Then, based on the design model of interactive micro-course for skills, and based on Adobe Captivate and Wancai Animation Master software,a development process for interactive micro-course for skills was constructed.According to the development process, three interactive micro-coursees for skills were developed, and their quality was evaluated. The evaluation results of the three interactive micro-coursees were all good; Finally, the preliminary application and effect analysis of skills interactive micro-course were conducted.Combined with the information technology curriculum in junior high schools,64 students from two classes in Grade 8 of a middle school in N City were selected as the research subjects. The methods of pre and post distribution test questions, questionnaires, and interviews were used to explore whether the students’ learning effects and cognitive load had changed, and how satisfied they were with skills interactive micro-course.Through practical research,it has been found that interactive micro-course for skills have improved students’ learning quality;Using skill based interactive micro-course for autonomous learning, students invest less psychological effort and experience less learning difficulty. The use of skill based interactive micro-course reduces students’ cognitive load to a certain extent;Students have a high degree of satisfaction with skills related interactive micro-course experiences and feelings, resource availability, resource interactivity, and resource interface presentation.Skills based interactive micro-course have improved students’ learning attention to a certain extent.Through interviews and analysis,it was found that in the interactive mode, most students prefer to answer questions interactively, and students reported that using interactive micro-course can improve their operating skills on application software.Of course, some students proposed suggestions such as enhancing annotations and reminders at key knowledge points. In addition, this study provides suggestions on the scope of application, interaction types, research cycle, and other aspects, with a view to designing and developing more high-quality and widely used interactive micro-course resources. |
