Micro-class is very popular with its’shortness’,’miniature’,’fineness’, and ’mightiness’among students, but it also has some problems such as the scattered knowledge, unsystematic knowledge, and ineffectively utilization of students. The stratified teaching has been applied intensively to primary and secondary school education and it pays a very positive role in various disciplines. However, during the application of stratified teaching, it will put some potential pressure on teachers and arouse the phenomenon of’attending one thing and losing another", since the teachers not only have to attend whether the students with different studying base are satisfied by the materials according to the curriculum requirements, but also have to consider whether the presentation style of the difficult and important points of teaching materials is tailored to the students’ cognition. Therefore, micro class application in stratified teaching of the course of information technology can make up the respective shortcomings of micro class teaching and stratified teaching and improve the studying efficiency in classroom.The research on the application of micro class in stratified teaching of the course of information technology is in its initial stage. At present there are no research materials to present micro class actions on stratified teaching of the course of information technology in practice. After review of the domestic application of micro class and analysis of the features of stratified teaching, the teaching scheme of micro class applied to stratify teaching of information technology is proposed and its effectiveness has been testified in teaching practice.After analyzing the types of micro class of high school information technology teaching materials published by Tsinghua University, the paper selected the second grade students in junior high school as the experimental subjects and chose the course of information technology as the researching materials. The single factor randomized block design was applied in this experiment, and the measurement tools included the questionnaire of teacher interviews, the testing tables of student achievements, and the questionnaire of student studying attitudes to the course of information technology. While the respective features of micro class and stratified teaching were analyzed, the strategies merging the advantages of micro class and stratified teaching was presented, which contain how to merging micro courseware into teaching design, how to combine the micro guided learning plan with student learning instructions, how to merge micro exercises into classroom exercises, and how to merge micro reflections with classroom reflections. Since micro video is the core of micro class, teachers should consider how to merge tightly micro class with other teaching stages while they design teaching scheme.The paper focuses on the proposed teaching scheme which combines micro class with stratified teaching and the experimental implementation. Based on the combination strategy of micro class and stratified teaching, the teaching scheme of information technology was designed, in which the micro class was merged with stratified teaching. Under the guide of this scheme, teachers designed the classroom teaching plan, and carried out this plan in two ordinary classes with no significant difference in studying basis and with similar studying atmospheres. In the process of teaching implementation, the traditional teaching scheme was applied in the compared class while the teaching scheme combining micro class with stratified teaching was applied in the experimental class. The implemental period is 12 weeks.The paper presents experimental research conclusions based on the analysis of various factors such as the teacher interviews, student achievement comparison, and student attitude change of micro class and stratification teaching. The conclusion is that the teaching scheme to merge micro class with information technology stratified teaching in high school firstly can enhance teachers’ classroom management efficiency, secondly can improve the academic performance of students, and thirdly can change students’ tune for information technology courses and enhance students’ interest in learning information technology.The information technology teaching scheme which merges micro class and stratified teaching is testified in teaching practice. The research results show that the new teaching scheme can make up the respective disadvantages of micro class and stratified teaching and can improve the learning efficiency of students in classroom. Moreover, the research results can give some good suggestions for merging micro class with other courses.
