| Patriotism contains deep historical emotions.It is the spiritual pillar of all ethnic groups as well as the spiritual banner that inspires ethnic groups.As young children are the new force in the development of ethnic minority regions,patriotic education in kindergartens can foster a love for their hometown,ethnic group and country,promote the formation of good qualities,and lay the foundation for the development of the country and the ethnic group.Therefore,based on the background of ethnic minority areas,this article will takes kindergarten patriotism education as the starting point,analyzes the current situation and problems of patriotic education development,and explores its influencing factors in combination with the particularity of ethnic minority areas,finally,writer will puts forward suggestions suitable for that region,so as to improve effectiveness of Patriotism Education in Kindergartens.In this paper,305 teachers from Ganzi,Liangshan and Aba ——minority areas in Western Sichuan——are taken as respondents.Besides,a questionnaire is used to get to know the current situation of patriotic education in their kindergartens.Based on the collected data and interviews,the existing problems of patriotism education in kindergartens of ethnic minority areas are summarized in terms of cognition,objectives,content,methods,security and evaluation.Finally,combined with the particularity of minority areas,the factors affecting the development of kindergarten patriotic education are sorted out: the lack of human,material and financial resources and institutional safeguards for patriotic education at the social level;the lack of training,teaching and research activities,party and group building activities and publicity activities for patriotic education in kindergartens;and the influence of teachers’ own educational philosophy,professional knowledge reserves,teaching methods,educational evaluation and reflective awareness.In response to the problems and factors affecting patriotic education in kindergartens in ethnic minority areas,the following recommendations are made.Firstly,the social level needs to provide support and protection for the development of patriotic education in terms of human,material,financial and institutional resources.Secondly,kindergartens should strengthen the training related to patriotic education for teachers,thematic seminars and create an assessment system for patriotic education for teachers to create a favourable environment and conditions for the development of patriotic education.Finally,teachers need to change their concepts and raise their cognitive level;enhance the scientific nature of goal setting by combining the laws of early childhood development;enhance the ability to develop local resources to enrich the content of patriotic education;make comprehensive use of multiple forms of expression to innovate the methods of patriotic education;mobilise the enthusiasm of multiple parties to expand the ways of patriotic education;enhance reflective evaluation and improve the ability to conduct research on patriotic education. |
