Exercise teaching is an important part of the whole teaching activities,and physics exercise teaching is an important channel to cultivate students’ core quality of physics.In addition to consolidating physical knowledge,the teaching of physical exercises can make students learn to use the unique concepts,perspectives and methods of the discipline to solve various complex and open real problems,so as to deepen the concept of physics,improve the level of scientific thinking and inspire understanding of the relationship between science,technology and society.But in the actual teaching,physical exercises teaching objectives are often narrowed into memory,competence of applying the formula and testing;This kind of exercise teaching can not effectively cultivate students’ core accomplishment of physics.It is of great significance to study how to improve students’ core accomplishment of physics subject through exercise teaching which occupies half of physics teaching.First of all,this study takes a High School as the research object.I become aware of the present situation of M high school physics exercises teaching through questionnaire and interviewing teachers.The survey results show that there are great problems in the selection of exercises in physics exercise teaching in M Senior High School,and the teaching method of physics exercises is not conducive to stimulating students’ active learning.Aiming at the problems existing in physics exercise teaching,this study aims at cultivating students’ core competence of physics,and applies self-efficacy theory,constructivism theory and recent development zone theory to improve the teaching design of physics exercise.The teaching design of exercises focuses on how to further grasp the learning situation accurately,how to optimize the teaching content and teaching process according to the core competence of physics by establishing teaching objectives,choosing teaching methods,determining the types of exercises and so on.The courses range from dynamics to electromagnetism through a semester of teaching.The results show that,compared with the original teaching,the teaching design of senior high school physics exercises based on core competence is helpful to the cultivation of students’ core competence of physics discipline and the promotion of learning interest.
