The teaching of high school physics exercises plays a vital role in school physics teaching,which can not only help students deepen their understanding of physics knowledge,but also improve their problem-solving abilities.The core literacies of physics are the essential characters and key abilities that students need in their life-long development and social development.The teaching of physics exercises plays an important part in cultivating the core literacies of physics.The author investigates and studies the teaching of physics exercises in an ordinary high school by means of questionnaire surveys,interviews,and statistical analysis.It is found that teachers tend to choose teaching strategies randomly in the exercises,which,as a result,is not helpful for promoting their ways of thinking and improving their attitude towards science.Based on the investigation and the current situation,the literature research method is adopted to cultivate students' physics concept,scientific thinking,inquiry ability and scientific attitude.Having sorted the literature with the theme of physics exercises teaching and training core literacy,the author proposed teaching strategies from four aspects:cultivating physics concepts,cultivating scientific thinking,enhancing scientific inquiry ability and cultivating scientific attitude and responsibility.Teachers are supposed to pay more attention to choosing the appropriate types of exercises to cultivate and develop students' scientific thinking through strategies from contextualization to re-contextualization-construction of physical model.Students' scientific inquiry ability will also be enhanced by attaching importance to scenario creation.Meanwhile,students'scientific attitude,exploration ability and responsibility can be promoted by the penetration of the history of physics.The three teaching cases of the " Circular motion in life" revealed how to use these teaching strategies in the practical teaching.And in the experimental group and comparison group after nearly six months contrast teaching,we evaluated the results by comparison analysis and interview.It is obvious for us to find those students' grades and interests in learning are improved,showing that the student core literacies can be promoted effectively.
