Research On The Intervention Of Social Work In Parenting Style Of Floating Single Mothers

General Secretary Xi Jinping has published a series of important treatises on paying attention to family,family education and family tradition construction,providing fundamental guidance for promoting high-quality development of family education and family tradition construction in the new era.Many studies have shown that improper parenting can lead to psychological and behavioral problems in children and adolescents.As floating single mothers not only have to take care of the family alone,but also are restricted by factors such as heavy labor burden and low education level,as the main body of family education,children’s discipline has become a great challenge for them.In the process of raising children,they are more likely to have the problems of parenting style,such as the deviation of parenting concept,improper parenting behavior and poor parent-child communication.How to improve the family upbringing of floating single mothers and relieve the parental pressure of floating single mothers has become a problem that social workers need to pay attention to and consider.This study takes floating single mothers in F community of Jinjiang city as the research object,and under the guidance of cognitive behavioral theory and social learning theory,discusses the family rearing style of floating single mothers from three dimensions of parenting concept,parenting attitude and parenting behavior.Literature,questionnaire and interview methods were used to collect and analyze the status quo and problems related to the parenting style of floating single mothers,and analyze the reasons behind it,so as to clarify the ideas for the follow-up practical intervention direction.It is found that the floating single mothers have some problems and deficiencies,such as the deviation of concept of family education,negative attitude of family education and improper behavior of family education,and have the need of improvement.Therefore,by taking the service form of social work group activities and considering the needs of members,the author set up a family upbringing education group from the three dimensions of improving the concept of family upbringing,attitude of family upbringing and family upbringing behavior.Through the analysis,it is found that group work can play a certain role in improving the parenting style of floating single mothers.The parenting concept,parenting attitude and parenting behavior of group members have been optimized and improved to varying degrees.In general,using group work to improve the parenting style of migrant single mothers has some advantages,but also has disadvantages.In order to improve the effectiveness of group work in improving the family upbringing of floating single mothers,the author puts forward the following suggestions,such as constructing the online and offline linkage mode,comprehensively applying social work methods,consolidating the knowledge base of family upbringing of workers and strengthening the policy guidance.In order to promote the application and development of social work in special family parenting education to provide reference.
