Research On Coping Strategies Of Social Work Services In The Context Of COVID-19 Outbreak

Since 2020,China has effectively controlled the spread of the epidemic,but so far,there are still small cases of recurrence.Social work agencies are often limited in providing services due to the epidemic.It is difficult to have any other solution other than suspension of services,which prevents social work from effectively exerting its role.In this context,this study,taking COVID-19 as an example,attempts to conduct a strategic study on the development of social work services under the background of COVID-19 and other public health emergencies from the perspective of social work.This paper combines the theory of "people-in-situation" with the service process of social work.By paying attention to "people",namely social workers,community residents and other relevant groups,as well as the "situation" of COVID-19 outbreak,this paper explores the vision and goals and analyzes the demand advantages of relevant personnel in the context of COVID-19 outbreak.Secondly,the author of in addition to its own agency other than the five institutions of social work in-depth interviews in a line,through a structured interview to understand their during the outbreak of the service to carry out the situation and adjust the strategy,combined with the author’s internship experience in C,in accordance with the sealing centralization control,control and prevention area,respectively,puts forward the corresponding service strategy,finally,to summarize the study,From the practice and research two aspects of reflection,analysis of the research in the strategic exploration of the defects and deficiencies.The focus of this study is how social workers provide services and give full play to social workers in COVID-19 and other similar public health events."People-in-situation”theory provides a new theoretical perspective for social workers to carry out the service,for social workers to further clarify the outbreak of various groups of resources,people and the environment interaction provides guidance,the theory of perspective emphasizes the use of environmental resources to promote director of change and ascension,focusing on the key point of this article explores further,According to the steps of "Epidemic Situation overview-Organization and project Site Overview-Adjustment strategies of the organization’s project Site to carry out services",the existing measures of social workers in different regions to carry out services under the epidemic situation are summarized and supplemented by adjustment strategies of different project sites in the same organization and different organizations in the same risk area.After summarizing the existing measures of the six social work institutions,this study found that the existing measures can be divided into two categories: adjusting the original services and increasing the adjustment of epidemic prevention and control.On this basis,it was proposed that social workers in the closed and controlled areas should focus on epidemic prevention and control when providing services to build the defense line against the epidemic.Social workers in controlled areas should give full play to their professional expertise and innovate their service forms.Social workers in prevention areas should reserve epidemic prevention and control forces and rationally optimize resource allocation when providing services.
