| In today’s era of information explosion,students receive information from different sources every day.How to make the right choice from the intricate information? This requires students to have critical thinking.In the new era,critical thinking has become a requirement for education and training in many countries.Critical thinking will also be an important part of our educational system in the future.In this research,we can understand the research status of PBL teaching model and critical thinking at home and abroad by consulting related literature.On the basis of theoretical research,try to use the PBL teaching model as the basis to design a teaching process consisting of five links: establishing a group,asking questions,analyzing and solving problems,discussing and communicating,and evaluating and reflecting.The three aspects of self-evaluation and reflection discuss how to cultivate students’ critical thinking,and put forward a teaching design model,and finally carry out teaching practice in high school to measure the impact of PBL teaching mode on critical thinking.Critical thinking is a high-level thinking,including interpretation,analysis,evaluation,inference and other skills.The PBL teaching model runs problems throughout the entire teaching process.The learning process is the problem-solving process.During this process,students build knowledge through the process of questioning,analysis,and reflection enhances your own critical thinking.In teaching practice,teachers closely integrate knowledge and practice,create real situations,use chemistry knowledge as the basis,use problems as the carrier,and carry out learning in a group cooperation manner.Students can develop the good habit of thinking diligently and good at reflection.Solve problems in the process of thinking and improve ability in the process of problem solving.In this study,students in the first grade of a high school in Xuzhou City,Jiangsu Province were selected as the research objects.The experimental class and the control class adopted the PBL teaching mode and the traditional teaching mode respectively,and used authoritative assessment tools to investigate the critical thinking of students.The study found that the use of PBL teaching mode can help students improve their critical thinking skills.In the experimental class,the students have improved their abilities obviously in the openness of thinking,truth-seeking,self-confidence,curiosity and analysis of problems.The ability to solve problems has also improved.This research proves the positive effect of PBL teaching mode on the cultivation of students’ critical thinking,and provides a new way for chemistry teachers to teach in the classroom. |
