In recent years,General Secretary Xi Jinping has made many important speeches on labour education,forming a unique Marxist theory of labour education for a new era.Under the historical mission of achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,contemporary China urgently needs a large number of outstanding talents and highly qualified workers.The future of the country and the development of society is at stake in China’s ability to produce a highly qualified workforce.Our labour education links are not solid enough,part of the youth labor consciousness and lack of labor ability,desalination,system research on Xi Jinping’s important discourse on labour education,grasp the profound ideological connotation and spiritual essence,not only for the current labor education value guide and guide,more for the young generation of labor to indicate the correct direction and scientific guidance.Thus,this essay takes the view of Thought and political education,by studying Xi Jinping’s important discourse on labour education and drawing on the major elements of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on labour education,to continuously develop the path of cultivating university students’ labour concept,so as to achieve the same direction with all courses and collaborate with all subjects to educate people.Starting from Xi Jinping’s important discourse on labor education,this essay summarises and composes the main contents of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on labour education,relates them to the cultivation of labour concepts among university students,and proposes a path for the cultivation of labour concepts among university students.This article is divided into five chapters:Chapter one is the primer.It first explains the purpose of this essay,the meaning of the study,and an investigation of the present state of study at both home and overseas.By researching and drawing on the results of existing research,the study is carried out by means of questionnaires and interviews,and the innovative points of the essay are suggested.Chapter two is the background to the formation of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on labour education.The background is explained in terms of the need for development,the reality and the basis for practice.The theoretical origins are explained in terms of the ideas of classical Marxist writers on labour education,the discourses of the Chinese Communists on labour education,and the ancient Chinese concept of labour education combining farming and reading.Chapter three is the major elements of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on labour education.It includes Xi Jinping’s important discourse on the value of labour education and Xi Jinping’s important discourse on the path of labour education.Chapter four is an introduction to the analysis of the present situation and reasons of the labour outlook of university students.Using questionnaires and interviews to obtain data on the present situation of university students’ labour outlook,we analyze and conclude the current inadequacies of university students’ labour outlook,which are mainly manifested in the following four aspects: university students have a one-sided labour outlook that emphasizes mental labour but not physical labour,a bad labour outlook that emphasizes comfort and enjoyment but not hard work,a utilitarian labour outlook that emphasizes personal interests but not collective interests,and a biased labour outlook that emphasizes material values but not spiritual values.In addition,according to the current problems,the causes of these problems are discussed in four aspects,namely,the influence of diversified negative social trends,the need to enhance the permeability of ideological and political education,the need to improve the atmosphere of labour education on campus,and the biased mode of labour education at home.Chapter five is a study of the revelation of Xi Jinping’s important discourse on labour education on the cultivation of labour concept among university students.Through the research on Xi Jinping’s important discourse on labour education,this essay shows that Xi Jinping’s important discourse on the path of labour education can provide effective inspiration for the cultivation of labour concepts among university students.Specifically,it includes the formation of the cultivation atmosphere of "cultural people",innovating the teaching mode of "convincing people by reason",strengthening the practice education of "practicing people",and creating a good environment of labor concept of "establishing people by family",so as to further improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education.
