With the development of tourism market,the demand for high-quality tourism talents is expanding,and the importance of secondary vocational education in the training of tourism talents is becoming more and more prominent.However,the number of tourism students is far lower than the demand of the market,and the quality can not meet the demand of the tourism market for outstanding talents.The rapid development of science and technology promotes the increasing diversity of work and life,and the lifelong learning ability and thinking ability become more and more important.Therefore,to enrich and cultivate students’ professional ability in teaching,it is necessary to improve students’ problem-solving ability and related logical thinking ability.This study puts forward new requirements on the ability and accomplishment of tourism practitioners in the tourism industry development planning,aiming at cultivating students’ thinking ability and problem-solving action ability in teaching.This study is mainly divided into five parts.Firstly,it introduces a research background,research purpose and significance of this paper,systematically sorts out the relevant literature about mind mapping teaching at home and abroad,discusses the current research status and research deficiencies of action-oriented mind mapping teaching in secondary vocational teaching and tourism teaching,and explains the specific research content and methods.Secondly,it mainly defines the concept of mind mapping and secondary vocational school,and expounds the theoretical support of constructivism learning theory,action-oriented teaching and knowledge visualization theory.Then,the study status of tourism major students in secondary vocational schools is investigated,including the process of questionnaire survey and analysis,and the existing problems in the course of "Basic Knowledge of Tourist Guide" are summarized,and specific suggestions are put forward in view of relevant problems.Finally,the teaching practice of tourism specialized course in secondary vocational schools is studied.The experiment of applying action-oriented mind mapping teaching to the course "Basic Knowledge of Tour Guide" in secondary vocational schools includes the analysis of the results before and after the questionnaire survey and the comparison between the results of the experimental class and the control class,and the difference analysis,so as to verify and draw the specific research conclusions on the application of action-oriented mind mapping teaching to the professional course of tourism in secondary vocational schools.Through the analysis,the relevant conclusions are drawn: 1.The use of mind mapping in teaching is beneficial to stimulate the learning motivation of secondary vocational students 2.Teaching with mind maps is conducive to improving the efficiency of knowledge construction and memory 3.Teaching with mind maps is conducive to training students’ logical reasoning ability 4.The use of mind mapping in teaching is beneficial to optimize the teaching process of secondary vocational teachers.Finally,the deficiencies and prospects of this study are explained.
