Research On The Impact Of The "New Infrastructure Construction" On The Digital Transformation Of Traditional Manufacturing Enterprises

Under the background of the COVID-19,many fields that apply digital technology have performed well in epidemic prevention,anti-epidemic and resumption of work and production,verifying the resilience of intelligent and digital enterprises.On the contrary,the hindrance of the development of some traditional manufacturing enterprises has also exposed the digital transformation of traditional manufacturing enterprises in my country.The insufficiency.To this end,members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and the National Development and Reform Commission have successively proposed the strategic construction goals of accelerating the construction of 5G base stations,UHV,industrial Internet and many other new infrastructure fields,which will bring opportunities for traditional manufacturing enterprises to accelerate digital transformation.It provides a guarantee for the construction of a new development pattern of domestic and international dual cycles.This article first analyzes the status quo of the "New Infrastructure Construction" and the digital transformation of traditional manufacturing companies,and finds that traditional manufacturing companies are limited by factors such as lack of core technology,insufficient method support,and insufficient corporate cognition.The technical field,investment model,strategic significance,and integrated application scope of the company have nurtured a good external environment for the digital transformation of traditional manufacturing enterprises.Secondly,it analyzes the impact of the "New Infrastructure Construction" on the digital transformation of traditional manufacturing companies and the internal mechanism.Based on this,the data of 960 traditional manufacturing companies in the Shanghai and Shenzhen Ashare listed companies in 2019 are used,using text mining methods and Python open source.The Chinese word segmentation function of "Jieba" extracts and summarizes the key words of digital transformation to measure the degree of digital transformation of various enterprises.Based on the perspective of "reducing costs and increasing efficiency to promote R&D",it examines the driving effect and intrinsic of the "New Infrastructure Construction" on the digital transformation of traditional manufacturing enterprises mechanism.The results found that the the "New Infrastructure Construction" will promote the digital transformation of traditional manufacturing enterprises to a certain extent,and the new infrastructure construction has more obvious promotion effect on the traditional manufacturing enterprises with medium and high levels of digitalization.This article further finds the the "New Infrastructure Construction" It will significantly promote the digital transformation of traditional manufacturing enterprises through three ways of reducing costs,improving efficiency,and stimulating innovation,and uses the proportion of provincial high-speed rail mileage as a tool variable to deal with endogenous issues,replacing estimation models,replacing the "New Infrastructure Construction" indexes and digitization transformation variables and other methods verify the robustness of the benchmark regression results.In addition,the heterogeneity test results show that the driving effect of the "New Infrastructure Construction" on the digital transformation of traditional manufacturing companies is more pronounced in the central and western regions,non-state-owned enterprises,and technologyintensive samples.Finally,based on the perspective of the government and enterprises,this article puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to help traditional manufacturing enterprises to “ reducing costs and increasing efficiency ”,stimulating innovation,and effectively promoting the digital transformation of enterprises with the help of the "New Infrastructure Construction".
