| Biology is a basic subject in natural science,which studies life phenomena and life activities.Biology Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 edition,revised in 2020)puts forward an important core quality "scientific thinking",and also points out that we should pay attention to the study of the history of science.It can be seen that the new curriculum standards provide us with an inspiration on how to develop students’ scientific thinking,that is,to cultivate students’ scientific thinking by exerting the educational value of the history of biological science.Therefore,this paper takes "Research on cultivating the scientific thinking of senior high school students based on the history of biological science" as the theme to study the role of the history of biological science teaching in cultivating students’ scientific thinking.This study adopts literature analysis,questionnaire survey,interview survey,practice research and other research methods.First of all,through literature review,to understand the research status of the history of biological science teaching at home and abroad,define the relevant core concepts,scientific thinking methods and theoretical basis,statistics and analysis of the number of history of biological science teaching materials and the scientific thinking contained.On the basis of literature review,questionnaire and interview outline of teachers and students were prepared.Secondly,through questionnaire survey and interview survey,the author understands the current situation of cultivating senior high school students’ scientific thinking based on the history of biological science.Found the following six main problem: for the memory of the history of science,students understanding of the scientific thinking is not clear,students of biology science teaching situation and the development of scientific thinking is not satisfied with,teachers for biological science we know the concept,used in biological science teaching time is not enough,lack of biology science teaching theory instruction.Thirdly,on the basis of the investigation,in order to better cultivate students’ scientific thinking,the following five teaching strategies are used: role playing strategy is used to cultivate students’ ability of induction and generalization;Use story situation strategy to train students’ deductive and reasoning ability;Using reading guidance strategy to train students’ model and modeling ability;Use inquiry teaching strategy to cultivate students’ critical thinking ability;Develop students’ creative thinking ability by using independent development strategy.Finally,the author chose two parallel classes in grade two as experimental objects,and carried out a three-month practical research on the premise of the same combination of courses and knowledge base.SPSS25.0 software was used to analyze the final exam scores of the two classes,and it was found that the scores of students in the experimental class were significantly higher than those in the control class.Based on the above research,it is concluded that the comprehensive application of role playing strategy,story situation strategy,reading guidance strategy,inquiry teaching strategy and independent expansion strategy in the history of biological science teaching can improve students’ scores and help to cultivate students’ scientific thinking. |
