The 21 st century is an era of rapid economic development.The country needs more intellectual talents to promote China’s high-quality and efficient development.As the export base of talents,schools need to further implement the national guidelines and policies,requiring schools to teach not only the transfer of knowledge to students,but more importantly to help students develop their thinking skills.With the continuous promotion of the new college entrance examination,the scientific thinking of cultivating students can’t wait.The history of science is a good source of teaching materials.Organizing the content of the history of biological sciences for teaching is conducive to cultivating students’ scientific thinking.Through this research,we also hope to provide teachers with relevant teaching guidance.The author has read a large number of documents related to the history of biological sciences and scientific thinking,and has explained the curriculum standards in detail.From the theoretical aspect,it expounds the connotation of the concepts related to "history of science","history of biological science","scientific thinking","quality of scientific thinking and scientific thinking methods".And analyzed the status quo of the teaching of biological science history and the cultivation of scientific thinking in high school at home and abroad;Then,through the questionnaire survey,this paper investigates the situation that some senior high school biology teachers in Guangan City organized the teaching of history of biology science in peacetime to cultivate studentsundefined scientific thinking and the situation that students studied the history of biological science.The survey found that most teachers have realized the importance of training scientific thinking.The teachers also affirmed the feasibility of cultivating scientific thinking in the history of science,However,due to the influence of realistic factors,the actual situation of teachers using the history of biological science to cultivate students’ scientific thinking was not optimistic.Moreover,some teachers did not have a deep understanding of the connotation of scientific thinking,and they did not fully understand the educational role of the history of science.The situation that led students to study the history of science was not ideal.Although students liked the teaching of history of science,they believed that the history of science has a positive effect on learning.they also looked forward to studying the research ideas,thinking methods,and lessons learned by researchers,which are conducive to the improvement of thinking quality.However,there were fewer ways for students to obtain scientific history content,and they have also become accustomed to teacher-based teachingmethods,lacking the initiative to think.Moreover,students lacked the awareness of the cultivation of scientific thinking methods in the study of the history of science,and did not develop the habit of scientific thinking.The students’ scientific thinking ability need to be improved.Based on the results of the teacher questionnaire and the student questionnaire,the teaching strategy of using the history of biological science to cultivate students’ scientific thinking in the classroom is proposed.The teaching steps of cultivating studentsundefined scientific thinking by using the history of biological science are summarized.And sort out the scientific history of the compulsory module of high school biology(People’s Education Edition),select the appropriate scientific history content,and write the instructional design according to the teaching steps and implement it.Studies have shown that organizing the teaching of biological science in the classroom to train students’ scientific thinking is operabl.Combining the history of biological science with scientific thinking to organize student learning is conducive to stimulating students’ interest in learning,promoting the mastery and application of knowledge,and cultivating students’ scientific thinking ability.Of course,this study still has some shortcomings,and it still needs to be continuously improved in future research.
