As an important milestone in the reform of international science education,STS(Science,Technology and Society)education plays an important educational value in improving the quality of science education and understanding the nature of science.At present,science and technology penetrate into all aspects of daily life and social development,and the relationship between science,technology and society is inseparable.Under my country’s subject curriculum system,the science curriculum,which consists of three natural disciplines,physics,chemistry and biology,is responsible for carrying out STS education.The Science Curriculum Standard(referred to as the Curriculum Standard)is a programmatic document that guides the compilation of teaching materials and classroom teaching,which involves various curriculum requirements of STS education.Therefore,this paper takes the core of STS education-the relationship between science,technology and society as the research perspective,based on the analysis scale of the STS relationship in the middle school science curriculum standards,and analyzes the 12 junior and senior science curriculum standards(Physics Content analysis of texts with explicit relationships between science,technology,and society in,chemistry,and biology).On the one hand,it finds the academic period and subject characteristics reflected in the STS relationship in the preface,curriculum objectives,curriculum content,implementation suggestions and other five parts of the science curriculum standard,and summarizes the curriculum requirements of STS education in the science curriculum standard for middle schools in my country since the new century.On the other hand,it explores the interaction of science,technology and social relations in the STS relational text of science curriculum standard,so as to fully understand the value of STS relational text of science curriculum standard.The research analysis found that since the new century,my country’s middle school science curriculum standards have paid more and more attention to the connection between science,technology and society,and gradually affirmed the educational value of the STS relationship.In the course target part,knowing and understanding the relationship between STS has become a necessary course goal for science,and has become a key element of the 2017 edition of the curriculum standard subject "social responsibility" literacy.In the course content part,the social themes in STS relations are mainly concentrated in three areas: daily life,industrial and agricultural production,and social development;the specific teaching methods adopted in the content of STS relations reflect the characteristics of integrating theory with practice,participation and inquiry,flexibility and diversity,etc..In the implementation suggestion section,the two sections of textbook compilation and teaching suggestions make special discussions on the integration of STS relationship;the evaluation suggestion section gives examples of the evaluation content and evaluation method of STS relationship;the development and utilization section of curriculum resources provides methods for the implementation of STS relationship and means.In other parts,the 2017 edition of the curriculum standard has added academic quality standards,focusing on the performance evaluation of STS relationships.In addition,the interaction of the STS relationship reflects the cyclic interaction of the three relationships,and its social connotation is enriched,and it gradually pays attention to the difference and connection between science and technology.Based on the results,this paper analyzes the influencing factors of the STS relationship between my country’s middle school science curriculum standards in the new and old curriculum standards,junior high school and high school,and differences in different disciplines since the new century.In terms of the old and new curriculum standards,it is affected by the background of the times,the reform of international science education,and the change of domestic curriculum concepts;in terms of academic stages,it is affected by the different positioning of junior high school and middle school stages,and the stage characteristics of STS relationship understanding;The essential characteristics of STS education,the research traditions related to STS education,and the influence of subject curriculum standard compilation experts on the differences in STS education concepts.To sum up,a ring diagram of the influencing factors of STS relationship in the science curriculum standards of middle schools in my country since the new century is constructed.Based on the above discussion,this paper makes an outlook on the implementation of the STS relationship in my country’s middle school science curriculum since the beginning of the new century,and proposes to attach importance to the interaction between science,technology and society in concept;Educational curriculum objectives;selecting valuable and authentic STS curriculum content;rationally selecting STS teaching methods;improving STS education evaluation mechanism;rationally developing and utilizing STS education curriculum resources;comprehensively paying attention to the interaction of STS relationships.
