Digital technology has gradually become a part of People’s Daily life and work,and it has also brought great challenges to education.The deep integration of digital technology and education has gradually become the new normal of post-epidemic education and an important direction for the development of higher education.Teachers are the guides and promoters of education.The key to promoting the integration of digital technology and education lies in teachers,who are required to have more extensive and complex digital abilities than before.Therefore,it is very important to improve the digital capability of teachers.The development of teachers’ digital capability is affected by many factors.Only by finding out the key factors affecting teachers’ digital capability and exploring the mechanism of these factors,can we provide basis for the development of strategies for improving teachers’ digital capability in colleges and universities.However,at present,there is a lack of research on teachers’ digital capability in China,and even less research on college teachers’ digital capability,which restricts the development of college teachers’ digital capability to a certain extent.Based on this research background,this study attempts to explore the factors influencing the digital capability of college teachers,and put forward targeted strategies for improving the digital capability of college teachers,in order to enrich the research in the field of digital capability of college teachers.First of all,through literature review,the study summarizes the connotation research of college teachers’ digital capability and the research status of college teachers’ digital capability measurement,and summarizes the factors influencing college teachers’ digital capability.Nine key factors that may influence college teachers’ digital capability are extracted: Self-efficacy,Perceived usefulness,Perceived distraction,Digital teaching intention,Job Burnout,School management,Digital Resource acquisition,Support services and Social influence.The questionnaire of College Teachers’ Digital Capability is designed,and the questionnaire is used to investigate the research objects.Finally,the questionnaire data is analyzed and the interview survey is combined to identify the key factors affecting college teachers’ digital capability.Finally,the targeted strategies for improving college teachers’ digital capability are proposed.The main conclusions of this study include:(1)The relationship model of influencing factors of college teachers’ digital capability is established.The following influence paths are obtained:Self-efficacy positively influence perceived usefulness,and perceived usefulness positive influence on digital teaching intention,self-efficacy negatively affects perceived distraction,perceived distraction negatively affects digital teaching intention,digital teaching intention has a positive impact on digital capability,school management positively affects digital capabilities,digital resource acquisition positively affects digitization ability,Social influence positively affects digital capability.(2)Put forward the development strategy of college teachers’ digital capability:stimulate college teachers’ self-efficacy;improve the digital teaching intention of college teachers;optimize the college teacher training system;strengthen the construction of digital resources;establish a cloud community for college teachers to learn and exchange.
