In the past ten years,growth mindset has become a hot topic in the field of education.It refers to an intelligence theory put forward by Carol Dwek,which holds that a person’s potential is infinite,and his intelligence and ability are dynamic and changeable through acquired deliberate practice,persistence,and hard work.More and more researchers are engaged in the practical research of growth mindset,most of them focus on the compulsory education stage,and there are few researches on kindergartens.In this study,through experimental research,the existing growth mindset intervention programs are localized and adapted to the age,and a group teaching course of growth mindset intervention is carried out for the children in the experimental class for 8 weeks,so as to explore the educational practice effect of growth mindset intervention course in kindergartens.It is found that the intervention course can effectively improve children’s awareness of the core concepts of growth mindset,stimulate children’s more positive response to difficulties and challenges,and promote children’s goal orientation in the face of challenges.The children in the experimental class have accumulated knowledge about the brain and changed from fixed mindset to growth mindset after receiving the intervention course.This study makes up the vacancy of the existing research,and proves that it is effective and meaningful to carry out the intervention course of growth mindset in kindergarten.
