In recent years,the development of campus football in China is in full swing.Returning football to education and campus is also the fundamental measure to solve the long-term backwardness of football in China.However,as a primary and secondary school football teaching worker,there is a top-level design,but how to implement it should be worth thinking about by front-line educators.In view of the development and popularization of football in primary school,it is crucial to help primary school students establish their interest in participating in football.Therefore,it is particularly important to adopt appropriate teaching methods in primary school football teaching.Situational teaching method,as a common teaching method in primary school teaching,is also applicable to physical education teaching.The essential purpose of situational teaching method is to stimulate students’ cognitive emotion,so as to mobilize their enthusiasm for learning.In order to explore the effect of situational teaching method in primary school football teaching,this paper uses the method of literature to collate and analyze the domestic and foreign literature on situational teaching method and primary school football teaching.The experiment method was used to carry out a 16-week teaching intervention on two classes of students in Grade 5 of the experimental primary school in Qishan,Shenyang.The experimental class used the situational teaching method to teach the football course,and the control class used the traditional football teaching method to teach.Taking students’ basic football skills and experimental data of students’ interest in football learning as test indicators,the results before and after the experiment were compared and analyzed to verify the impact of situational teaching method in primary school football teaching.The results show that the situational teaching method is introduced into football teaching in primary schools,and can greatly improve students’ skill level and learning interest in practical teaching;The test results of basic football skills of the pupils in the experimental class are better than those in the control class,and there is a significant difference,which shows that the application of situational teaching method in the primary school football class can promote the football teaching of the pupils,which shows that the situational teaching method is better than the traditional football teaching method;The students were tested with the Sports Situational Interest Scale,and the interest of the experimental class in football was significantly different from that of the control class,indicating that the situational teaching method has a positive role in promoting the initiative of primary school students’ football learning and promoting their concept of lifelong sports.
