| Karate events are developing rapidly all over the world,and the level of athletes’competition is also increasing year by year.World-class karate competitions have attracted wide attention from scholars at home and abroad.As the world’s highest level karate event,the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games attracted many outstanding athletes.In this Olympic karate competition,a total of two women’s athletes in China were shortlisted and won 1 silver and 1 bronze,breaking the zero record of the Olympic medal.However,the failure to achieve a breakthrough in Olympic gold medal zero and the fact that no one was shortlisted for the men’s event are practical problems that China needs to face.Therefore,we must clearly recognize that there is still a large gap between the overall level of karate in China and the world’s high level.This study uses literature data method,expert interview method,video observation method and other research methods to select 82 karate events in the 2020Tokyo Olympic Games as research samples.The purpose of this study is to sort out and summarize the winning factors of karate elite athletes in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games through Spearman correlation analysis,multicollinearity diagnosis and stepwise discriminant analysis,and to establish a winning discriminant equation to predict the outcome of the competition,in order to re-examine the key factors affecting the outcome of karate competition from a probability perspective.On the other hand,it also provides theoretical basis and suggestions for the improvement of the competitive strength of China’s karate team and scientific training and competition.The conclusions of this study are as follows:1.In the correlation analysis of the personal characteristics/competitive performance of elite male athletes at all levels and the outcome of the competition,a total of 30 statistically significant indicators were selected.Through multicollinearity diagnosis,18 statistically significant indicators were finally retained.2.In the correlation analysis between the individual characteristics/competitive performance of the elite athletes of the men’s-67kg,-75kg and+75kg and the outcome of the competition,19,20 and 13 statistically significant indicators were selected.Through multicollinearity diagnosis,12,10 and 10 statistically significant indicators were retained respectively.3.In the correlation analysis of personal characteristics/competitive performance of elite athletes at all levels of women and the outcome of the competition,a total of 21 statistically significant indicators were selected.Through multicollinearity diagnosis,15 statistically significant indicators were finally retained.4.In the correlation analysis between the individual characteristics/competitive performance of elite athletes in women’s-55kg,-61kg and+61kg and the outcome of the competition,a total of 15,17 and 13 statistically significant indicators were selected.Through multicollinearity diagnosis,12,14 and 11 statistically significant indicators were retained respectively.5.The total winning factors of male elite athletes are as follows:first score win>3 score rate>corner position>1 score success rate.The winning discriminant equation is Y=1.811X1+0.021X2+0.793X3+0.024X4-1.823.The discriminant accuracy of the equation for the winning times of elite athletes is 88.10%.6.The winning factors of men’s-67kg,-75kg and+75kg elite athletes are leading>first score winning>3-point success rate>corner position,single technology,1-point success rate>draw.The winning discriminant equations are Y=0.285X1+1.656X2+0.044X3+0.810X4-1.827,Y=0.852X1-1.474,Y=0.064X1+0.848X2-2.279.The discriminant accuracy of the discriminant equation for the winning times of elite athletes was 94.10%,84.60%and 91.70%,respectively.7.The total winning factors of female elite athletes are first score win>middle position>2 points use times.The winning discriminant equation is Y=2.127X1+0.358X2-0.148X3-1.265,and the correct rate of the equation is 87.50%.8.The winning factors of women’s-55kg,-61kg and+61kg elite athletes are middle position>combination technology,first score win,first score win>lead,respectively.The constructed winning discriminant equations are Y=0.635X1+0.563X2-2.139,Y=3.341X1-1.566,Y=2.733X1+0.772X2-2.396,respectively.The discriminant equations are 83.30%,87.50%and 100%,respectively. |
