| In the face of the increasing demand for the care of the elderly and children in the current society,the domestic service industry is also gradually moving towards the level of professionalism and specialization.The improvement of the quality of the domestic service practitioners and the drive of internal learning also promote the long-term positive transformation of the role of the passive life caregiver of the domestic service practitioners to the role of the active green life leader.This article toke the X Green Housekeeping Project as an example and adopts a case study method,using observation and interview methods to collect data.It is found that the professional difficulties of domestic women workers include a lack of legal protection for the employment environment,the public’s adherence to employment discrimination,and the backward concept of domestic women workers themselves.Based on this,the organization combined sustainable development theory and empowerment theory to carry out empowerment practices for female domestic workers.On the one hand,from the perspective of individual empowerment,it carried out activities such as the "Health and Wellness Series" and the "Body Dance Series";On the other hand,services such as "Green Housekeeping Skills" series activities,"Liang a yi Handicraft Workshop",and "New Short Media" platform dissemination were carried out from the perspective of collective empowerment.Finally,the questionnaire survey method was used to evaluate and conclude that through individual empowerment services,the self-awareness and control of female domestic workers have been significantly improved,and certain results have been achieved in promoting the sustainability of their individual careers;The intervention through collective empowerment has a significant impact on the collective consciousness and action of female domestic workers,and it is of strategic significance to guide the sustainable direction of life for female domestic workers.Through this study,three conclusions can be drawn: firstly,based on empowerment theory and sustainable development theory,the career development dilemma of female domestic workers with outdated self-concept can be effectively solved;secondly,the practical logic of green social work in empowering the career development of female domestic workers;thirdly,the role value of female domestic workers through green social work.The practical logic is to empower individuals from the "body mind" dimensions to enhance self-efficacy and promote career development;what is more,carry out collective empowerment from the path of "cultivating organizations-building consensus-implementing actions" to enhance collective consciousness and promote role transformation to lead a green life.In addition,the role value specifically refers to serving as a sustainable service provider to build a diverse service platform,serving as a supporter of green education to meet self driving needs,becoming a sustainable empowerment enabler to cultivate scientific self-awareness towards goodness,and serving as a green policy advocate to promote legitimate professional values through multiple channels.Therefore,the author hopes that the intervention of green social work can leverage the dual advantages of female domestic workers in balancing urban employment families and rural original families,and gain some space to lead green living practices.Thus contributing to sustainable development vision of "natural environment ecological livability" and "human society harmonious relations". |
