HINOC(High Performance Network Over Coax)is a New-type Ethernet over Coax access technology with independent innovation as the core,which is under the background of "Triple Play" and for the requirement of Next Generation Broadcast network.Utilizing the out-of-band cable resource,HINOC implements the highly-efficient multimedia data transmission based on the two-way broadband multi-service.With the proposal of the draft of HINOC protocol,several communication equipment manufacturers are working to develop HINOC device.In order to solve the inter-connection and inter-communication issue among different manufactures’ HINOC products,it’s very important to develop the testing system on the HINOC device.This paper focuses on the research and development of HINOC MAC protocol.Firstly,Based on the study of HINOC MAC protocol specification and the TTCN-3(Testing and Test Control Notation version 3)testing system,according to the theory of conformance testing,this paper proposed the conformance testing architecture of HINOC MAC protocol under the testing platform which is provided by the TTworkbench;Secondly,based on this testing architecture,this paper implemented the corresponding TRI(TTCN-3 Runtime Interface)and TCI(TTCN-3 Control Interface)for the HINOC testing system,achieved the communication between tester and SUT(System Under Test),and realized the function of timing and encoding/decodeing;At last,combined with testing script,this testing system completed the conformance testing of the node admission process and the link maintenance process on HINOC device,which is realized on the embedded development board PXA270.The result shows that this testing system could satisfy the requirement of the conformance testing of HINOC MAC,and verifies the correctness and stability of TRI and TCI.
