In recent years,the state has paid more and more attention to cultural soft power.With the promulgation of the public cultural service guarantee law and the public library law,the public library,as an important public cultural institution in China,has entered a critical period of development.According to the theory of social cognition,the three factors of cognition,behavior and environment interact dynamically,that is to say,a good public library image in the hearts of citizens can positively affect the public’s use behavior of public library,and then give play to the value of Public Library and promote the sustainable development of public library.Therefore,facing the public,it is very necessary to build a good public library image.In addition,the provincial government is the key hub to connect the central and local governments.Therefore,the provincial government microblog also plays an important role in all government microblogs.For the public,the government microblog has significant authority and credibility,and its role in building the image of public libraries is not obvious.Accordingly,this study based on the perspective of public library image construction,collected the public library related blog articles published by the provincial government microblog platform,as the data basis,combined with the context model to design the research framework.Firstly,this paper analyzes the temporal and spatial distribution of blog topics and the category of content topics,explores the categories of public library image construction and the common differences among provinces based on content analysis and cluster analysis,so as to comprehensively sort out the current situation of public library image construction;secondly,it explores the power source of public library related information push by going deep into government microblog blog texts.The final research results summed up the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of public library topics in government microblog and eight theme categories;summed up seven public library image construction categories,including architectural image,collection image,librarian image,facility image,service image,responsibility image and cultural image,and four public libraries,including concept mode,visual mode,behavior mode and multiple mode In addition,this study also analyzes the power source of government microblog publishing public library related information from the two dimensions of government administration demand and library development demand,and concludes that the government services demand mainly includes the protection of basic rights,the demonstration of construction achievements,the response of policies and guidelines,and the discipline of national consciousness,The demand of library development mainly includes four aspects:Library basic function specification,library innovation achievement demonstration,public library demand response and public library literacy cultivation.Finally,based on the above research,this paper summarizes the public library image construction mechanism based on the provincial government microblog.This study starts from the government microblog to explore the image construction of public library,and at the same time pays attention to the current situation and reasons of image construction,which has a certain degree of innovation and complements the existing research results of library image.In addition,according to the research conclusions,this study puts forward suggestions for the optimization of public library image construction in the future,which can provide reference for the sustainable development of public libraries to a certain extent.
