In recent years,the wireless communication system has developed rapidly,its functions,and performance has been greatly improved.At the same time,people also put forward more stringent requirements for wireless communication systems.From the entire RF link,the role of antenna in wireless communication is very important.In the face of increasingly severe complex working environments,how to design an antenna that can adapt to multi-environment and multi-function,becoming the focus of the current antenna field.Since the concept of self-configuring,researchers have put large amounts of human material for designing excellent performance,making reconstructed antennas have become a popular field.The reconfigurable antenna can be achieved by an additional parasitic capacitance,a PIN diode,MEMS,or the like,such as polarization mode,operating frequency,and radiation direction map.Important parameters.In this way,the antenna operating state is switched by the bias circuit,which can exhibit different radiation characteristics according to different working environments.The reconstructed antenna has experienced a long evolution in the development process,its structure,material,and functions have changed.The designs of the conducible antennas in the past were very complicated,and the reconstruction characteristics capable of achieving are very limited,until the emergence of electromagnetic super materials,the researchers have opened a new field of a new field.Overall,these new reconfigurable antennas for super material design have more functions,more widely used scenarios and higher practical value compared to traditional antennas.This paper first points out the research significance of the combination of electromagnetic super material and antenna design,combing the relevant examples of the reconfigurable antenna design of electromagnetic super material in recent years,and analyzes its advantages and disadvantages,practical value.Next,the related theory of electromagnetic super material,such as an equivalent vehicle model,the local parameter extraction method,etc.,a new type of rectangular mushroom type electromagnetic bandgap structure is proposed.Finally,the following two reconfigurable antennas are designed according to the proposed new electromagnetic bandgap structure:(1)the C-band low profile figure can be reconstruct an antenna,which is coupled by a slot coupled.The DC bias circuit is designed to control the working mode of the antenna.The simulation results show that the electromagnetic super surface on the top of the antenna can effectively improve the radiation efficiency,and the metal via inside the substrate is critical to the operating frequency.The measured results show that the main beam direction of the antenna can be adjusted within ±30 ° range,and three different radiation directions can be achieved,with a band greater than or equal to 4.5 d Bi,four states shared-10 d B impedance bandwidth of4.2%.(2)multi-mode frequency-direction map reconstructed antenna.By changing the top of the antenna,the antenna surface radiation current is changed,and then the radiation pattern of the antenna is changed,and the operating frequency of the antenna also changes.The measured results show that the antenna can achieve four different radiation directions,and the inner gain is greater than or equal to 2.1 d Bi.
