Since the 1970 s,with the continuous improvement of social and economic levels,the computer industry has been developing rapidly.Economic globalization has made the trend of specialization of enterprise activities more and more obvious,and different types of value chain division of labor have gradually formed among different regions and countries.OEM model has become one of the main ways for China to participate in the international division of labor,and China currently has become the largest production site of personal computers in the world.FH Computer is a high-tech manufacturing company that has accumulated rich experience and capabilities in the field of personal computer development and manufacturing.However,the PC industry has entered a slow growth period after decades of booming development,and the normalization of the COVID-19 pandemic has brought about instability in the global supply chain,and the disappearance of China’s demographic dividend has led to domestic labor and raw material costs up,so the company is facing more and more problems and challenges.Based on the above background,how to make FH Computer Company continue to maintain the leading position in the industry has become an important issue that the company has to face.In this paper,FH Computer Company’s external macro environment and industry environment are fully analyzed by using PEST analysis model,Porter’s five forces model and CPM matrix.At the same time,the internal environment of the company is analyzed in-depth in terms of corporate resources and corporate capabilities,and identified the key factors of external opportunities and threats,as well as internal strengths and weaknesses that the company is currently facing.The EFE and IFE matrices are applied to quantify the key factors and concluded that external opportunities outweigh threats and internal strengths outweigh weaknesses.By analyzing the combination of opportunities,threats,strengths,and weaknesses through the SWOT matrix and combining it with the company’s development goals,it is determined that the company should adopt a diversified growth overall strategy.Then,by applying QSPM matrix to prefer alternative competitive strategy,it is determined that the cost-leading competitive strategy is more suitable for the future development of the company.To ensure the implementation of the development strategy,the implementation measures are proposed to enhance digitalization,improve the overall efficiency of the organization,develop green products,and improve the efficiency of energy saving and emission reduction.And we also guarantee the smooth implementation of the measures by optimizing the organizational structure,strengthening project management,optimizing workflow,enhancing self-research technology capability,and strengthening organizational culture to ensure the implementation of the optimal strategy,thus these initiatives will facilitate the sustainable development of FH computer corporation,and provide some reference for other similar companies to make strategic decisions.
