When it comes to the development,it could be extremely significant in imaging and spreading a city.A good city image is a stepping stone to attract more visitors.Cultural tourism variety shows,as a new type of tourism program,take the exploration and dissemination of the city image as its own responsibility,and deepen the audience’s cognition of the captured city image by presenting the city’s material image and spiritual image.Based on this,cultural tourism variety shows have a certain positive effect on the shaping and dissemination of the city’s image.As a cultural tourism variety show,Youth Travel has achieved good ratings as soon as it was launched.It is different from the short and casual mobile short videos,and it is also different from the serious and boring TV travel shows.Youth Travel can bring joy to the audience by using its entertainment nature,and at the same time let the audience appreciate the natural beauty of different cities with different styles,and each city has its own unique cultural charm.This article selects Hangzhou,Sanya and Chengdu where the program was filmed for case analysis.Through the survey,it is found that the program spreads the natural environment and local knowledge and dialect diet etc.during the famous explore the cities.Relying on the effect of variety shows,the program while improve the fun and topicality of the city,it also deepens the audience’s cognition of the city.In the show,the city is no longer cold,but full of fun.However,at the same time,the research also found strong commercial color in Youth Travel.Its content production is more inclined to entertainment,and its exploration of the city is shallow,and it does not strongly shape and spread the city’s image to the audience.In the audience’s cognition of the city,the program plays a role more like a dessert after a meal.The purpose of the audience watching the program is to obtain entertainment,and to learn about the city information and improve their impression of the city in the entertainment.This paper will list some advice in the end and these advice will be helpful in the image of the city in the program.such as controlling the entertainment scale and enriching the city’s image,basing itself on the program itself and reducing the commercial color,integrating media resources and giving full play to its advantages,etc.It is hoped that The program can better shape and disseminate the image of the city based on its original intention.
