In recent years,China’s informatization construction has provided a clear development plan for the information industry.The software and information technology service industries in China have developed rapidly and have become an important component of emerging industries.Software developers are the core resources of software companies,the driving force for long-term development and innovation,and play a decisive role in the survival and development of enterprises.Therefore,how to effectively motivate software developers to improve their work enthusiasm and creativity,create greater value for enterprises,and achieve sustainable development has become a problem that human resources in enterprises need to pay attention to in the fierce competition conditions.H Company is a high-tech company specializing in the development and sales of computer software and hardware technology,as well as information technology services.With the development of its business and the continuous expansion of the market,the company has encountered some problems in motivating research and development personnel,which affect and restrict their work enthusiasm,leading to a decrease in their loyalty and satisfaction with the company or their resignation.This article takes H company’s software developers as the research object,combines the characteristics of software developers and relevant incentive theories,and uses literature research,survey questionnaires,and interview methods to study and analyze the incentive system of H company’s software developers.It is found that the current incentive system of the company mainly has the following problems:performance management and assessment mechanisms are not accurate enough and lack fairness;Insufficient effectiveness of salary and welfare incentives,lacking effective incentives for developers;The training mechanism set up by the company for developers is not perfect;The promotion standards for developers are not clear,and there is no transition mechanism established from technical to management positions.Based on the issues and reasons investigated above,this article proposes optimization plans from the aspects of performance management,salary mechanism,employee training,and promotion channels,taking into account the characteristics of software developers and the company’s development situation.These include improving the performance evaluation mechanism,establishing effective feedback mechanisms to ensure fairness in the evaluation;Optimize the current salary mechanism and increase the effectiveness of long-term incentives for developers;Optimize the employee training mechanism,attach importance to tracking the training effectiveness,and promote the continuous upgrading of the training mechanism;Expand employee promotion channels,quantify employee promotion standards,and combine the personal development of developers with the long-term development of the company.Finally,propose corresponding guarantee measures for the implementation of the incentive system optimization plan.The implementation of the optimization plan must first obtain the support of the company’s senior leadership,and develop a series of institutional policies as guarantees for the optimization plan of the incentive system;In addition,strengthen the support of the company’s organization,organize specialized personnel to supervise the implementation of the optimization plan throughout the entire cycle,and provide certain support to employees;At the same time,it is necessary to provide corresponding technical support to achieve electronic incentive systems and accelerate the construction of incentive systems.This article studies the incentive system for software developers in Company H,which can achieve a more effective incentive effect for software developers,promote the further development of developers’ work enthusiasm and initiative,and provide talent protection for the sustainable development of the company.At the same time,the relevant ideas and experiences of this article on the optimization of incentive systems are also of great reference significance for other software and related types of companies,providing certain reference value for the study of enterprise incentive systems.
